Ascending is tough and descending after ascending is tougher. While returning back from #MakraPeak, we forgot the trek we came from and unknowingly, descended from another arm of Makra peak. It was though lengthy but beautiful with green meadows and snow glaciers. Crossing the glaciers was way more dangerous from the deserts of snow at the top of this giant mountain but later it became memorable and charming to think that we summitted Makra peak from another side.
After crossing the glaciers, we were surrounded with heavy fog and clouds. We were lost because of not being able to find the path we were supposed to descend till base camp. Thank God that clouds went away with the cold breeze blowing beautifully and we reached base camp. Took enough rest there and walked to paye top where our jeep was parked and it finally dropped us to Ashiyana hotel in #Shogran.
