I like how you mentioned the meaning of the word Mishkan and the concept of us having to approach Hashem; in contrast to Shemuel ha Navi who had the merit of Hashem coming to where he was. Also in Tehilim David ha Melech mentions Shemuel ha Navi on the same level as Moshe Rabbeinu and Aaron ha Kohen

The quote in the parasha reads 'I will dwell _in the midst_ of them' (Israel). Mosje never wrote that G'd would live _inside_ of Israel. (Ex. 29.45-46.)

I want to offer a correction that for the purpose of building temuh is suspended30:20 the rambam writes in איגרת השמד that no mitzvos are dependant on the massiah so to make peace between the two sources an alternative reading in the Mishna Torah is required(which also makes more sense)
