Got to see it at the track. Was looking at the big screen at turn 1 and then a roll and everyone turned around to see the bigger screen to see what happened in the replay.

I gotta say, when you block so aggressively, it's gonna end badly. He drove the first guy to the edge and did it again to the guy behind. Mirror driving doesn't win races.

Cooper Murray has always been like that, glad to see the other driver walked away but… not surprising of the driver that caused it 🤦🏼‍♂️ Cooper still thinks he’s in a go kart where he got away Scott free with these sorts of entanglements.

I was there. They did 2 laps behind the safety car. This was the first flying lap.

@@TimRobson ya lift once it’s expected every time! This incident could have ended multiple ways but unfortunately it ended in a tumble weed. They’ll work it out and move on.

@@TimRobson bang on. Murray had no spatial awareness or anticipation. If McLeod had been injured or worse (easily possible) people would take a much more dim view

I’m very glad that Cameron McLeod got out but seriously Cooper Murray should’ve being penalised for it because he made the initial contact and he didn’t back out of it he stayed in the throttle as the vision shows and just turned him around.

@@feelincrispy7053You can see how hard he was steering left against him by how the car swerves across the track after he pitches the other into the spin. That wasn't innocent contact, that was someone deliberately being turned round by a driver sore at being passed.

@@agent0066 Not correct. The initial contact is McLeod into Murray, at that point McLeod was already going to be going around. Murray turning left is to stop him from being pushed into the dirt as well, as McLeods car pushes his car hard to the right. So yes a left steering input technically did happen, but the reason as to why is most definitely not an intentional wreck, and occurred after the result was a forgone conclusion, as is typical of these types of incidents. The situation sucks for both drivers, but to even hint at it being deliberate is extremely unfair on both drivers.
