Ken Griffy can always look back and smile and KNOW he was the best hitter of his era.

Everything about Griffey Jr. was awesome. His swag, swing, athleticism. Anyone remember “Hi this is Ken Griffey Junior. Let’s play Major League Baseball.” Also him and his dad hitting back to back HRs when they played for Seattle at THE SAME TIME! Just legendary lore.

pitching against roided up cheaters makes what Greg Maddux achieved even MORE awesome..and yes some pitchers juiced but not greg..he won those games and cy youngs with wicked control and 75 mph breaking balls and 80 mph sliders...not 103 mph fastballs

Say what you want about the steroid era...but it was without a doubt some of the best years of baseball.

Steroids issue aside, this is the most 90s documentary I’ve ever seen. This editing is like a beautiful time capsule into straight-to-VHS sports featurettes.

I was 9 years old during the summer of ‘98 and it was a summer I’ll never forget. Life goes quick and people come & go but I’ll always cherish that particular summer and the great memories and the time I spent with people that I wish were still around today.

Almost half of McGwire's 152 hits were HRs. Thats insane!

I can't believe this was almost 20 years ago. Life was so much easier back then.

This was an awesome summer I remember turning on espn every am to watch the highlights. This was when baseball was awesome. Everyone loved it when it was happening and kinda knew what was going on. Then everyone turned on mark when he came out and said it.

These two guys provided us with some of the most exciting baseball moments ever. Try and match the feeling baseball fans had watching this. I loved it and still do.
