It's been a crazy few months, but we finally got back to the Tekno EB410.2 buggy to give you more content on this highly capable race machine. Greg had been busy, so behind the scenes RC Driver staffer Dean Berry stepped up to complete the follow up. Dean has helped with a few videos before and is a long time RC enthusiast and racer so he knows his way around the track. I got a used EB410 for dirt. I am totally in love with it. I’m definitely going to get the .2 for carpet now.

I highly recommend the arndcraft fan shroud and mount over the stock mount. Much better cooling and top mounted. Also change the rear springs to red.

Have you had problems with the trx4 power modjul not working with the Bluetooth not being recognized and working same thing with the other Bluetooth options.

Dean, thanks for the overview. Would this make a good base for a Frankenstein Porsche rally car build? I’d be doing a mix of different surfaces including dirt road stuff.

Hi Bob - First, thank you. Second, I love RALLY CARS and back in our print days did several rally project vehicles. I think it would be great, but check the size of your body against the wheelbase and width of the EB410 .2.

@@writedeanb I think that’ll be the real challenge. Doubt touring car bodies would fit. I want something nicer than the Tamiya chassis! RCM is my home store. I’m in Tolland, maybe 30 min from there. Maybe see you someday!

I love my Tekno Eb410 & ET410, but the one area I can't stand is the front bulkheads. They are the weakest link and Tekno only lets you buy replacements as a front and rear set, even though you will go through 4 fronts before needing to replace the rear. That set cost $24, almost $27 after tax for probably $3 worth of plastic. Ok, my rant is over :)
