My Uncle (who passed three months ago), special ordered one in red back in early 2021 with every option. He even had electric retractable side steps that molded into the bottom rocker panels that looked awesome. One thing I noticed right away is that it is a very large truck. However, it drives and rides like a powerful magic carpet, and is built and feels as solid as a vault. Jumbo Kudos Ram/Dodge!

I have driven both the old raptor and the new one. I actually liked the first raptor better. The new one with a V6 turbo is just not for me and definitely with the problems with the engine variable timing gears that go bad. This video shows me that Dodge is still the king of power now in trucks. I can't believe I missed your live feed last night. I think I was cooking dinner and didn't see you come on. Wow!! just Wow!! I have been out looking around for my next thrill. I checked out the mustang GT, testla, Jeep Wrangler, Bronco, Corvette Stingray, but nothing really grabbed my attention. I was not impressed until 8:00am this morning. This is the one for ME!! My search is over!! I can now have fun and drive even when old man winter throws snow my way. I would welcome the opportunity. Hell yeah!!

I can't understand why nobody is building a 2wd street truck. You'd think in this performance age, someone would build a new Lightning or Ram Hellcat for the street. This truck is cool and all, but I want a regular cab shortbed with a performance engine.

I was going over TRX reviews and this came up.... I got to the part where you were talking about the beadlocks (which are by default on this truck, if I recall, not functional as sold) and it appeared as if you thought beadlocks were special on trucks. They are actually very common in offroading. Then I realized you are not a truck guy, but a car guy. Awesome truck though..... wish the MPG was lower. I know folks say that isn't important for "this type of vehicle" but in reality it still is. If you only intend to keep it on the roads and urban areas, I get it... but if you want to take it off road and use it that way, it matters a lot more than many would like to admit. More so since you can get other trucks that will in realistic situations perform as good and get over twice the MPG. It has been one of the biggest dings for this truck (aside from "size") that I have seen come up over and over. But again... damn cool truck.

Did Dana change the terminology of full floating rear axle? A full floater has the axle shafts that bolt to a hub that contains a inner and outer wheel bearing so that in the event of an axle shaft breaking the wheel doesn’t fall off. The pictures of the axle as being shown are of a semi floating unit. Sure would like a half ton truck with a full floater.

It is a nice truck but for off road fun I'll stick with my Jeep Wrangler, which is whey I went with the 2021 RAM Rebel which I am super happy with as the 5.7L e-torque Hemi has a bit of jump to it as well and I saved 30K over the TRX :) But, a very nice truck indeed. Good content as always Sir.

Dodge seriously needs to pit their new tech in their other performance and well selling vehicles - especially in 2021 like the hud, the rear view mirror camera, their bigger uconnect5 screens, and their new keyfobs. It should all be in the charger, challenger, durango, and grand cherokee
