I remember that Dodge made incremental “Scat Packs” stage 1, 2 and 3 for the Challenger and Charger with the 5.7L V8 that increased power by 18, 30 or 58 Hp, in order to install the stage 2 you had to install the stage 1 first and the same for stage 3. They where expensive, but they allowed you to increase the power of your naturally aspirated R/T up to 428Hp and 442Lb/ft of torque with all three installed, much less than the 6.4L for more money, but it was nice for you to have the option to do it if you wanted to add a bit more power and you didn’t had to do it all at once.

I made my own stage kit for my 2020 scat pack shaker. Kooks long tub headers, Borla Atak, comp 270 cam shift package, Hellcat oil pump, Hellcat induct tub, 180 thermostat and tune. Got 591 WHP. Sounds AMAZING 😍😍

The kits are amazing......I ordered a whipple gen 5 3.0 stage 2 with the 112mm throttle body....for my 19 challenger hellcat redeye...been waiting for 8 weeks so far....the latest update was they were upgrading some of the components.

I guess I’m just going to take my Scat Pack Charger to Steve Morris Engines when the warranty runs out. Dodge continues to let Us faithful customers down.

Dodge has let so many SC owners down by not offering any stage kits , like they have for the 5.7 hemi, not everyone has the money to buy a hellcat. But most have some to invest in a stage kit, now everyone should be looking into turbo kits, but only after your warranty is done. Hope dodge will be in business in the future. Who knows.

That’s disappointing for the scats but for me personally it’s got plenty of power, I love the power in my scat, it sticks the tires and goes, hellcats have all that extra power and it’s hard to get the power down, plus I’m keeping mine stock, helps with the value, down the road when and if i decide to sell it, most people are looking for 100% stock, so I’m good. But thanks for the update.

Bummed no stage kits for my 2016 Scat Pack Shaker. However, I did take delivery of a 2023 Super Stock in May(Pic in Sig), so I'll be looking at getting a Stage II kit for that I'm thinking...

Well, at least they are offering the torque converter upgrade on the 6.4...but it is disappointing that they cold not come up with anything for the 392 powerplant.

I put long tube stainless works catted headers, borla type S catback, comp 274 cam kit and got 505/490 on my 392 T/A Widebody. It cost about $10k after the install and tune. Car drives like stock, sound classy and feels much faster at any RPM than stock without traction issues the hellcats have at a dig.

Dodge says they have only a torque converter for redeye do you have part number for the 1320 converter for the scat pack

If you own a scat pack get the procharger kit you can get almost 150 to 200hp added to your scat but your factory warranty doesn’t cover it

I should've bought a Hellcat 4 years ago when I had the chance. Was too stubborn and cheap thinking I'll eventually get one down the road. Now they're out of my price range and it's looking like I'll never be able to afford one. Smh I blew it.

Nothing for the 392 peeps??? You would think the largest selling performance cars they sell the 392 lines of challenger and chargers and zilch. We know it isn’t a platform super suited for mods that actually make HP without spend hellcat money but Diffs, diff braces , short throw Barton style shifters , trans upgrades . These would be nice to have installed with a Dodge warranty thru power brokers and direct connection.

...and DC only goes as far back as 2006 on their site. Least Holley is on the ball for 70-00s mods/parts Especially for all the guys doing D100, Dakota, etc Hemi swaps rather than 408/410 magnum strokers.

I have a 21 Charger scatpack, not the fastest on the block, but she sure is pretty. Me and the wife went to buy challenger scatpack 3 of them sitting buy this Charger Hellrasin scatpack we both looked at each other and said I like the Charger more, left with the Charger never regretted it. Took it to fathers day car show 1st one I've entered got peoples choice trophy. I love that car!

It's da Po mans HEMI. Quite interesting on the Helephant motors. I'll have to do some research on the DEMON 170. I'm guessing it will have an Aluminum Helliphant motor to get it into the 1/4 mile times Dodge is claiming✌😎☯️

Funny how you can't pick and choose parts anymore for your dodges. In the 60s you could have 50 chargers in a lot and each one was different. Now we have package one and package two it sucks

What do you know or think about doing a Thorton chip tuning for the naturally aspirated 426 hemi? Other than the fact it will void the warranty. Do you know anyone thar has done this? And was it worth it? It's only about$100 I think.

I wonder why they’re trying to sell all of their hemi crate motors when they are required by law to provide any and all parts covered under vehicle manufacturer warranties for the duration of the warranty? They sure have sold a boatload of Hemis in the past two years so they would need to support the power train on these 23’s until the end of 2030. Or maybe they just estimate how many they will need. I was a little concerned replacing my RT with my new Scat Pack with it being a soon to be discontinued model, but after speaking with my local dealership where I bought it they told me the above stated requirements so I guess it will be alright. Plus I added 7 year 100k max care on mine at cost so fingers crossed it will last and just keep on being a blast to drive.

There is power to be made in the 5.7 and the 392 motors. I have tuned mine and done a lot of upgrades, but as Racer X says, its all about cost etc. I went in for the long run and went E85 and upgraded injectors and intake and exhaust etc. Im not doing any internals though as thats where the NA motor has its weak link for anymore upgrades. I am fine with that as I dont race etc. It I raced then Id get a hellcat motor or something else for racing. Most of us 392 guys just want to get the max power out of the motor without having to do much to it and thats what Ive done and Im happy. Direct connection seems to want to do more and probably wasnt going to be able to pass CARB regulations which in themself are ridiculous. They still could have done a pre stage kit though as thats what most people like myself do when we go to tune it. A cooler TSTAT and a intake and unlocked PCM. What I really want from Dodge is their flex fuel sensor and programming for my PCM so I can take my E85 tune and go to a flex tune whenever.

It makes sense about the situation with the stage kits for R/T and SCAT. The 6.4 is pretty good w/o boost IMO. It's easier to have stage kits for the 6.2 engines because they already have a lot of the necessary components to support it. The 5.7 and the 6.4 are going to need other expensive upgraded components in order for stage kits to make sense. It's just not cost-effective with those two standard engines to bother. I would of thought that they could of come out with a 180 stat and engine/trans tune for race fuel for at least 20-30 HP increase ?

I think the biggest fumble is dodge not finding a way to sell the 2.4l supercharger to 5.7 and 6.4 owners, people have been doing it for years in the aftermarket and it would sell well for the right price

Ok as far as the 6.4 they can't add power without spending goobs of money is not an acceptable statement. Put a supercharger on it while it's no hellcat it's definitely a lot more power than factory.

Instead of boost, what about just going heads & cam for the 392? Even though its not as cost effective as an LS/LT... but still. Thoughts?

Hey RacerX, I just bought a new 2022 Dodge Challenger Scat Pack widebody, "Hemi Orange" edition. I was wondering if it is worth it to put a cold air intake on it, just to give it a little more HP and peppier sound, or just leave the stock intake on it?

Nearly impossible to get a Power Broker to engage you on ordering a Stage Kit even if you ARE eligible.

I feel bad for you dodge guys. It would of been dope if dodge made stage kits for the 5.7 and 6.4. The hellcat engine has overshadowed any other performance engines in the Dodge line up and has become poster child for dodge. It would be nice to see some variety in the brand but i guess not.

Direct connection is overpriced anyways for those kits. Talk to the right shops and get a better setup. There is a reason why you can order cams and other parts from summit, mancini and other suppliers. As for the 5.7L im calling bs on power adders. Plenty of options out there without going broke including supercharged.

Hmmmmm whipple 3.0 vs IHI 3.0 for the same price? I think if peoplenare going to get a bigger blower theyd get the more reliable, consistent blower. Especially when they are the same price its like dodge doesnt know their customers
