Back in the summer of ‘06 I had just turned 21 living in Northern Cali and was partying heavily all over Los Angeles on weekends. I ended up moving to Los Angeles by the end of that year with a friend, it was the first time out on our own for both of us. No more home cooked meals, just eating out everyday! I got so sick of fast food and restaurant food very quickly, and not to mention how expensive it was… so I decided to learn to cook. I would tune in every weeknight to the food network and Rachael Ray’s show taught me a lot! I learned to cook with 30 minute meals… I had every episode on my DVR so watching this clip reminded me of those days. I’m not a big fan of her newer cooking style and methods or recipes but her early cooking show helped many of us!

My first: shes the one who taught me how to cook watching 30 min meals, I was so excited when this aired🥹🥰....to this day I still look up her old episodes to look up recipes... forever will be auntie ray in my house(literally what we call her)❤

I just want to add a little piece of television history for the record. The day Rachael Ray show came on the air was the same day The CW Network debuted. They both debuted on September 18th, 2006. But I prefer The Rachael Ray show over The CW, because The CW has been nothing but crap since it debuted back in 2006 when it replaced The WB Television Network. I miss The WB Television Network, and if they're going to take Rachael Ray show off the air this year, they need to shutdown The CW Network and MyNetwork TV too this year. But still, Rachael Ray, it's been a great 17 years on the air, and I wish you the best of luck in your future endeavors. Thank you for the memories. The Rachael Ray Show (2006-2023).
