Hi Karen 💖 Oh what an adorable 100 page greyscale book, all good things in one package…lol so many adorable pages to choose from! I saw a few little girl and boy that resembled Sarah Kay’s work so I really love them…that adorable bunny with a stripe in the middle of the head, I just can’t help smile…lol also the bear? with buck teeth, I just giggle every time…lol. Thank you so much for the flip through, I really loved it! 💖💖

I want to order this book to help with my physiotherapy, colouring with my left hand.......saw a review about it being really nice imagery but the paper is not so good😭

I have a question, please. I noticed, and you'd mentioned it also that the pages are very thin. I just received a grayscale coloring book and the pages are thin. (pictures are cute though) Is that the norm or is it just a matter of not having high-quality coloring books? Will it change the experience in coloring vs better quality pages? I am a beginner so I do not think I should start on a paper that is going to give me a yucky effect, that will make me not color in the book again, and that will be faster of money.

Hi, all coloring books have different page thicknesses.... It is up to both the publisher and the artist on the paper used in the books. Most hardback books have thicker paper, but also a higher price. I don't find it harder to color on thin vs thick paper, but some colorist do... I say color what you like and have fun doing it... 😊

To specifically answer your question, That book is printed on Amazon paper. All Amazon paper is thin and being thin only factors in when you want to use some other mediums like those that use water. Unlike line art where you are colouring directly on top of the paper, in grayscale, you are colouring on top of a printed layer that sits on top of the white paper so the pencils react differently. I have not yet tried a Mintz Amazon printed book because I prefer the pdf that I can print out on my own smooth cardstock Neenah Index paper. To answer your question, no the thin paper will not affect your greyscale. Karen was saying thin, but what she wasn't saying is that it is Amazon paper. That said, I have used Christine Karron's GS books and Alena Lazareva's GS books that are printed on Amazon paper. Both books are fine as long as I use an oil based pencil, so I use my Brutfuner sets. On the other hand, I have had GS books printed on Amazon paper like those from Jade Summer and Kevin Teo for example and I struggled with all types of pencils I tried, so I don't colour in those books.
