@@purplegrapes7 I don't think it's that close, but given that back in season 3 when Ross is telling Rachel about a life together and having a daughter named Emily. But given Ross history with an Emily, I think Rachel was also considering Ross sentiment from then. And so when the name Emma was close to Emily, it would still be different enough from the name, yet it resembled that name a bit more than others.
