ESPN and the NBA make money on the league's success so they need a mouthpiece who will push forth their narrative. It's really sad to see. The refs try to turn every game into a close exciting game while making horrible calls and no calls which ruins the game. If every game is special, then no game is special. What makes a game special is that you saw a fair competition and most of the time they don't have a great ending. But those games that are legitimately officiated, and have a special ending stick with you for years. You tell your kids about them. The NBA has been going down this path since the 99 lockout.
