Omg, I heard this song on the radio 7 years ago when I was falling asleep and still in middle school. And today I finally found it. You can not even begin to comprehend how elated I am right now.

My teenage daughter needed her dad to hear one of her favorite songs from one of her favorite artists. One of the most revealing ways to know where a young life's heart, thoughts, and attitudes are is to know what they are listening to. Rachel Platten's music is filled with joy, beauty, encouragement, and the decent side of humanity. It is so refreshing to see such a disciplined talent present herself with class, elegance, and dignity. My daughter's heart is in the right place. A thankful and grateful dad.

Something uplifting to listen to during these COVID-19 times that puts a smile on your face

I was stationed in Vilseck, Germany in the 2nd Cavalry Regiment when I first heard this song played on the radio on a weekend morning in the Java Café on post back in January 2013. I could barely hear it and only remembered the 'da da da da da' part. I searched and searched all over for it for days and days on Google and anywhere else I could try and finally found out what it was. It is still one of my favorite songs and I haven't gotten tired of it. It's a shame you never hear this on the radio.

Man, It take me full week to find this song and being here. It worth every effort. I feel so much HAPPY now.

Omg she is the best singer. I listened to her for the first time in 2017 and since then she has been my favorite singer. She was known for her song"fight song ". A lot of people said that she created only one good song and she didn't deserve any recognition. But they were so wrong. She is so talented and her music is amazing and moving. She makes me feel calm and really happy. She gives me hope and even when a lot of people stopped listening to her she kept up because she is passionate about what she is doing and that is just amazing .

This song, then the whole album, inspired my relationship vision. Met my now wife in jun 2013, married her in dec that save year... 53 steps, little light... the whole album is a perfect balance and, to me, tells a story of a person who steps out of her head and into life and love. Still love this song.
