This tutorial is awesome. I've decided to start covering my hair for medical and comfort reasons (I don't like having my hair flying around but it's too short for putting up and bobby pins/clips don't stay on for long). This is the first wrap I'm doing and it's really easy, looks great, and is super comfortable. Thank you!

you've got skills, woman. Using a stick pin without being able to see what you're doing--- not sure I'll ever get there. I'll be trying this technique, thanks!

+Heather Price Hope it works well for you, Heather! You might find that practicing with someone's assistance and using two mirrors (to see the back of your head) to be easier. They definitely can be tricky and take time to become comfortable using!

Thank you so much for this tutorial! I have been getting Tichel headaches pretty badly lately, whenever I wear a velvet headband. And I normally don't like the way most turban-style wraps look on me. But this wrap looks so good, and I don't need a velvet headband! I tried it with my t-shirt tichel and a few lightweight scarves (the buckle scarf from Wrapunzel works well), and it was so comfortable and didn't slip at all. I'm going to need to buy some more t-shirt tichels. This may be my new go-to comfy wrap for when I'm super busy with the kids at home (no tails for baby to spit-up on).

+Sarah Jonnalagadda You're so very welcome, Sarah and we're thrilled that it's worked well for you! And without a velvet headband, even? Who knew! While you didn't ask about it specifically, it's also quite possible that the velvet band you're using is too small for your head, which can, indeed, cause headaches. Perhaps a larger size could help with the problem. Good luck and thanks for letting us know about the buckle scarf!

Love! I struggle with turbans and getting them to turn out right. Can't wait to try the first and third options! (I don't have pins.) Thank you Rachel! ❤

I like the second option. Not a pin fan. And I like tails BUT also like your turbans. Glad I just got some tshirt tichels to practice with! Thank you.

Great video, can you share where you purchase the pins to secure the head scarf, I am in a limited area for items such as the pin with the ball at the top. Greatly appreciate your video.

I have a question, and if any super talented wrapunzelistas could give me advice I'd really appreciate it!! So I wear hijab, and unlike Jewish modesty standards, I don't show any hair. Whenever I wrap a turban/tichel as opposed to a traditional hijab style, hairs poke out of the back of my scarf at the nape of my neck, and around my hairline just above my ears (sort of female side burns? lol). Any tips? I'd foray into the world of tichels if it weren't for this problem....

@soulisrael68238 жыл бұрын
i know, :) i meant u need to wear a tighter one. your hair should not come out. some jewish women (like myself) cant show any hair. as u can see from my picture.

+Neshama /soul Ahhh a tighter one.... hmmm ok. I've got some tight ones but even those don't work. Do they have to be wrapunzel undercaps? I'm using tube style hijab caps.
@WrapunzelOfficial8 жыл бұрын
+Abi Pereira Hi, Abi! We know many HIjabis that wear an under cap that covers their neck, ears and sideburns, so that all of their hair is covered completely. This works wonderfully for turbans and tichel-style headcoverings because no hair around the neck and ears shows. I believe they're called "Ninja Scarves". Hope that helps!
