Rachel, you are my turban queen!!! Your instructions are clear and easy to follow and the results are always fabulous on you. I've been buying from and watching Wrapunzel for a couple of years now and have yet to come close to mastering a turban. I guess I just have a big ol' head because the turban never looks as smooth or flattering on me. I often look like the alien emoji! LOL At any rate, you keep up the good work and I'll keep trying the many variations on the turban that you (and the other Wrapunzel ladies) demonstrate to us. Much love!

Thank you Rachel for this video. As I have remarked before, I have low vision, meaning I need a lot of light to see. Your choice of these beautiful contrasting colors was genius. I had no trouble at all seeing all you were doing. I love this wrap and will "attempt" it soon. Lael

Really lovely turban style but because I don't feel comfortable wearing turbans I followed the instructions for the short ends then the first long end I brought around and under my chin before bringing it up to the top and pinning. I then finished with the second colour as in the video but allowed it to hang down covering my neck and again pinned in place. It looks just as fabulous but covers the parts my arthritis really likes to have covered, thanks for the idea because without the video I would never have come up with a similar design.

You would want to use a magnetic pin, not a regular one. You don't want to punch holes in such thin material.

I enjoyed watching this video, I love the way you teach so clearly and warmly. What I keep having an issue with is the first step. I don’t understand how to bring my two tails up and tie a normal looking knot. It looks terrible and not like the way you do it every time I try. Do you think you can make a tutorial on that first step?

Rachel, when you tucked the short ends in, did you tuck them between the scarves and the shaper, or under the band of the shaper? I'm wondering if I tuck under the shaper if it will cause it to rise up and wiggle off my head. Btw, I REALLY like how well spoken you are in explaining AND showing us what to do, and little tips like wrapping the short fringes inside the tail before tucking. I appreciate you!

Rachel, I saw someone do a turban look with a square scarf but I couldn’t see how she started it, like if she folded it at all before wrapping, but she brought it up like you are doing in this video. Any chance you might be able to figure it out?

Thank you so much. Wrapunzel is such a great idea and I love to watch your videos. That might be a stupid question, but do I have to get married before I'm allowed to cover my hair? Or is there any chance to wear a tichel as an unmarried woman?

help... i am having trouble keeping my scarf from slipping even though I've tried different under caps. also I never seem to have enough scarf to tuck. and yes I have long ones. also the fringes seem to always be in my way. can't I cut them?

+Norma Saez Hmmm... Have you tried using a No-Slip Headband? They are an amazing invention, if you're not familiar! wrapunzel.com/product/no-slip-headband/ About the fringe- we recommend not doing so, as that can cause your scarf to fray or even come unraveled! Many scarves do not come with fringe, though, so it's probably easiest to just stick to scarves without them.

Question: How do you keep the scarves on? I've never had luck keeping them in place, they always shift or work their way off and I end up having to remove everything and start again. I honestly don't know what I am doing wrong. While many styles featured on Wrapunzel are beautiful, this one is something I feel I could do (even as a novice). I call myself a novice because someone experienced probably has no issue keeping the scarves secured on their head. Haha

+Wrapunzel Ladies : I'm so sorry, I never received a notification that you'd replied! To answer your question, I have a no-slip headband. I honestly haven't really used it, because I get headaches. I'm wondering if that's why my scarves keep coming off. :-( Any solutions to satisfy the scarf vs. headache dilemma? I've resulted to a Sheitel vs. scarf, to alleviate the headaches.

I am just wondering; I have always been taught that Jewish women are not to pierce their skin? If so why do you have tattoos and pierced ears? I love learning about different cultures. Your head coverings are always beautiful. Wrapunzel is my favorite place to shop.
