Screaming crying throwing up sobbing tearing out my hair brain falling out heart dying of love becuase how the hell is it humanely possible to write a piece this romantic and beautiful like it perfectly captures the emotion of when the person you like finally confesses and it’s like a dream come true and your heart is finally content with its emotions. When i asked my mom she said it was like unspoken love, you never see it or speak of it but you know its always there in the person you love and they will never leave you even through hard times and turmoil. It’s like everything is alright with the world and it will be okay soon but or now you’re just dancing in a garden with the love of your life knowing that… the now is okay, ad you are safe, and they are safe Or it’s like when you see that one person that always makes your day and they come sit down next to you and smile and say hello and this whole time you’re just there like not knowing what to do but its ok cause you love that person And its also like when that one person knows you like them and they like you and its that day watching he sunset and everything is alright and suddenly they just like you ykyk and it’s romantic and everything a suddenly all you’re dreams are coming true I feel like floating on a great big loud staring in to the sky and i wish I could just float around forever This truly is *what falling in love feels like.* Rach, what have you done to me my dude

Yes, this makes me sob because of the film "Brief Encounter" Try listening to this after watching the film, especially if you find your soul mate when you are already married. 😭😭😭😭

i wouldn’t call it simple at all, the melodies both in the piano and the orchestra are masterfully crafted and super catchy, and the harmonies are so unique and beautiful, but indeed it is super expressive

We actually used this piece, and this link to enter in for my Grandad's Funeral. We wanted something beautiful and not excessively sad.

So soothing, calming and emotional. I love it this recording: the other are kinda faster, as tempo, but this one is giving the expression in every note. Delightful

This song is one of the most beautiful and intricate songs and it makes me feel the beauty of life and all it’s meanings in one with the trees,Memories and nostalgia really holds a meaning behind this masterpiece of keys and feelings in a gate trying to escape out of this dong while the hands of heaven are trying to reach you while listening to this ascending song.

Rachmaninoff was credited as co-author and his estate received 12% of earnings. Even if the copyright expired already..

I'm pretty new to music, why are the E octaves at the start of the video played every bar? I thought them being tied together meant you would hold the note instead of playing it a second time? While I'm at it why is that very first G# note written twice? How do you even play that

The g sharp is written twice to let the performer know to hold it for the length of the longer value note, but its still in the other voice to let you know its part of that part too.
