When you want to get the air out of a Ziploc bag to seal it, close the bag almost all the way, then put a straw in that corner and suck out the last of the air. I've been doing that for years. It works great.

I’ve done that and it works great but sometimes I can taste the meat in the air and it gags me.

@@RachPlusFive 🤢🤮🤮 I have some kind of terrible aversion to raw meat…like smelling it, touching it, etc makes me sick at my stomach so I’d definitely gag! I wonder if it would work to suck the last bit of air with a Turkey baster or something, with or without a straw🤔

Just throw in a paper towel to soak up all the grease. Turn it all around in the pan to get as much grease as possible. Then throw away your paper towel. Easy.👍

Oh that’s a nice tip! I’ve always done the foil and just let it cool in there lol my mom lets the grease go down the drain but she says if she puts a little bit of Dawn dish soap in there and pours boiling hot water on it it cleans it out just as much but I don’t do that that’s just too many steps lol

@@canditamcguckian1031my mom and dad just had to replace like 30 ft of plumbing from their kitchen sink. They rented a snake and it broke. They tried everything & nothing worked! The plumber said it was from years of grease and whatever else buildup & costed them $600! I know a lot of people do that but I don’t think it’s a great idea! It may take years but will probably eventually bite you in the butt….that would be my luck at least! 😂

💊 The pill bottle opening hack was definitely a new one for me. Wow! Nothing is worse than having a headache and not being able to open the bottle quickly. Along with this, if you are someone who has a hard time lining up the arrows on a pill bottle to open, then try marking them with a Sharpie. Color both arrows in with the Sharpie, and it's much easier. If you wear bifocals like me (or know someone who does), this is a great help. Thanks for all the great ideas, Rach!

My husband wears fire resistant clothing for work so we can’t use any kind of fabric softener. We also can’t use vinegar as a softener on his work clothes so baking soda for the win! It gets all the work crud out and softens the fabric to keep them wrinkle free. Thank you for a grout cleaning hack that isn’t toilet bowl cleaner. I work for a tile company and it kills me every time I see people wreck their grout like that. I will say if you’re going to go through the trouble of cleaning your grout, invest in grout sealer to minimize the number of times you have to clean the grout. Julia Pacheco uses a trick on her cooking channel for draining meat grease. She was paper towel over the end of her spoon and runs it around her cooked meat to absorb the meat. Works great.

I agree with you ladies, baking soda is good I used it for years, Until I tried Arm & Hammer Laundry Booster Super Washing Soda, I ordered from Amazon a few years ago and it's a must have.. I feel it works even better than just baking soda and I definitely can use less Tide liquid detergent with it for all laundry and clothes, towels, sheets, EVERYTHING really, my laundry smells better, brighter and is softer. You can also make a paste with Dawn and the washing soda for set in stains and the stains come out. Also I've read reviews people add it to their dishwater and all kinds of things to clean around the house. I guess it's especially great for people with hard water, which I don't have, but they seem to have fabulous results with the Super washing soda... give it try, I don't think you win be disappointed! Have a great day everyone 😊

If you're freezing ground meat, flatten it out after you put it in the bag and it lays down flatter allowing more space in your freezer. Also, you can use the side of your hand to divide it into patty portions making it easier and quicker to use after thawing. It thaws faster too.

So glad I found your channel. I do the washing soda in the loads and it helps so much. Especially since the newer washers don’t really clean as well. I also use the sanitizer in the fabric softener dispenser. I also use the Bulky water level because most or the water levels are very low. For grout I use the color sealers. It takes forever, but it’s worth it. It will never go black again. “OHIO” only hand it once. Similar to the don’t put it down, put it away. For the spray and the honey make sure your spray doesn’t have toxic repellant. The orange staining the plastic is also toxic. Plastic can leech into the food. Try for glass lids- especially with things that are acidic. The creamers are highly carcinogenic especially if they have Carageenen. I wouldn’t touch any of them. They can hide toxic stuff in the Natural Flavors term too. They don’t have to disclose.

Wow, I just stumbled upon your channel and was amazed at the tricks and good hacks you demonstrated for us. My favorites are the spaghetti stained tupperware, the Fabulosa garbage scent boost and the shampoo/cond bottle openings in the shower rack. And the thing that really blew my mind was th Coffee Mate creamer that is nothing but "OIL" OMG, that is Disgusting. I just now went to read the ingredients on mine (even though it's zero sugar) and it definitely said Caro syrup and oil at the top. I wanted to throw up. Thank you for enlightening us. You just got yourself a new Subby. I look forward to your next one.
