Hi there thank you for the comments and likes. To have a healthy young birds you need to start pairing up good breeders from a good racing background make sure the breeders have enough space to make a nest and own little privacy. Then all you need to do is give them fresh water, grit and minerals. You must have grits in your loft this helps prevent them from getting sick and it helps them digest their foods. And make sure you clean your loft often so that it doesn't build up bacteria and fungus, your loft should be nice and dry!! And try to not leave any left over feeds to prevent the attractions of mice. Im still pretty new to this hobby and still have much to learn but the way I feed my birds are simple I use it for breeding,young birds and for racing. The only vitamins I use is electrolytes I give them before breeding and after breeding when the squabs are about 10-12 days old and after a race but everyone has their own methods hopefully I answered some of your questions!!.

2 bushel of canola 1 bushel of barley 5 bushel of wheat 6 bushel of corn 1 bushel of sunflower/safflower 1 bushel of milo 1 bushel of millets 3 bushel of peas 2 bushel of soybeans 1 bushel of lentils Thats my one year supply give or take i feed that to about 50 birds
