Man! That was a good race with the storms! Close! Your face while you were landing was priceless lol, a little tongue sticking out action in the flare. You were so focused, you wouldn't of even noticed a fly land on your face lol. Keep them coming, I need more Baron content while I search for one to buy (whenever that happens lol).

@@BaronPilot landing is and has always been the defining moment of any flight. all landings are not perfect but perfection is not a requirement to get the airplane safely on the ground.

I'm an old retired controller and years ago worked Arthur Godfrey flying through my airspace one night. He checked in like this: "Cleveland center, The Baron November One Mike with you level nine thousand." He was a famous radio personality and also famous pilot. Several videos featuring him on KZfaq.

i absolutely hate safety wiring. I've gotten used to it but it definitely takes me longer to do the wire sometimes than draining oil and changing the filter

@22:50 , why don't you use 20/50 AMS oil? Use the signature series. Probably go longer oil changes and have same or better protection with there oil filter too. Might check for safety filter tie off.... With AMSOIL reps. Love your videos. God Bless you both!

Gee Kris, the way it looked on the radar map, it looked the storm was closer to PGD than you were and was gonna have to divert to do some early Christmas shopping with Kim, LOL. had to replay the comment from ATC like 3 times to understand what he said. "THE"... Baron Pilot. thats awesome.

Not sure if you've found this out yet - I noticed Kim typing a frequency entering the initial 1. With the Avidyne you can skip the first number (so frequency 123.45 just type 23.45) :)

Love the videos and have a question if you don’t mind. I was thinking, if Kim wanted to take flying lessons and you, The Baron Pilot, were a CFI (which you very well may be), could you teach her using N3175W (a multi-engine complex aircraft)?

Unfortunately he’s not, but if he was yes he could teach me in the Baron. It’s just not typically taught starting with a multi engine, as CFI’s prefer to teach the basics with focusing on 1 engine.

If you are only deaf in one ear, you need to call your local FSDO and ask about getting a waiver. I don’t see why you can’t.

Listens to Continental about buying more expensive oil. Doesn't follow recommended fill, and then adds 'Marvel Mystery Oil'? LOL! ;)

Except AeroShell is the more expensive oil and even Continental acknowledges our can’t fill to 12 quarts. 😉

@@BaronPilot Since when have the Dutch made things more expensive? And what would Continental know about ayur-kraft moter maintnanse? XD The only semi-serious part of that was the additive, though. In auto and small motors, most additives tend to do more harm than good compared to regular oils. If they've seen a positive result, I might start buying the stuff! Nova Scotia is a way more corrosive environment than Florida... :(

Trust me if aeroShell was cheaper I’d be using it. 🙊 Many oils now a days already have a additive. Phillips does not.

The starboard engine does get to see her the entire time she’s in the plane. Maybe she’s kissing the port engine to let it know she hasn’t forgotten it.

@@jonchapman3064 actually many a men complained about it. Not just my choice of clothing, but that I was “doing a man’s job” People can’t understand washing a plane is simply another maintenance item, and is not there to be exploited🙄😬

Just wondering why you chose to own a Baron instead of something in the Cessna line up or maybe an Aerostar. With Kim whining about a fast airplane...maybe you should look for an Aerostar. For a piston...that plane is as fast as some turbines.

I chose a Baron over a Cessna because I prefer the quality of a Beechcraft. The Aerostar was not a consideration at the time due to its cost.
