Racing the Triumph Tiger 800XC

There aren't a lot of places to ride my tiger off road, so I decided to race Sportsman on it and see how I did. Unfortunately the SD card was full and didn't get a whole lap. Total race time was about 1:15. It was slippery and very hard to keep it upright without knobbies.
As you can see we cut a few corners out where I didn't want to create a bottle neck. This was just the sportsman class where there is no trophies or points. We had ourselves disqualified right after the race. Also I did complete that part of the course on the 2nd and 3rd lap.

Like new Tiger 800 for sale low miles, garage kept...slight scratch on left side of tank from a low speed drop. Killing it. Reminds me of that time in college when my buddy bet I wouldn't race him on his KLX250 enduro off road with my Ninja 500. The Ninja was surprisingly good off road except for the mud, those road tires did not like the mud.

I just picked my good used 2015 Xcx with under 6000 miles. I'm not going to motocross but enjoy the versatility and power of the Triumph! Nice Video!

Holy crap, you're almost defying physics with that big bike keeping pace. Very impressive to see what that machine can do with a skilled rider. Those sportbikes are also killing it.

Never though I'd see a hare scramble with an adventure bike. Dude has some skill and stamina. I've seen people Peter out on lightweight dirtbikes. Triumph should take notice of this guy.

I just got a mint fully upgraded 2011 tiger xc. It has every mod you could think of. It's my first time riding a bike adv in the dirt and it's scary AF! I can't believe how well you did man! I hope to get about half as good as you are in the dirt. I ride a Sur-Ron / Segway x260 on the trails ND it's a lot of fun and so easy. Switching g to the tiger feels like riding a tank lol.

Dude how did you not lose the front end more often. Kudos to you. I own an 800 xcx so appreciate how much it takes to throw the thing around a track like that. In saying that the bikes are amazingly forgiving and handle dirt better than its size and weight would lead you to believe. Well done.

Hah... there are plenty of enduros in my area, no a speck of dirt on any of them , kudos for getting out there and keeping it real . Now for a sportster or bagger, LoL Love the dirt rocket . Something I would do, lol rat dirt rocket , ha.

I wanted to put my KX500 motor into my EX500 frame. But now I think I'll just trade the rolling suspension packs. Have a road ready ADV bike, all lit up, and a screaming single, track-day special!

If that’s bpm as in heart rate. I like how it’s dropped as you came off the public road. As if the threat to your life subsided and you relaxed. That looks like so much fun on the big adventure, you know your not in to win but it’d be a blast with that in your mind just racing for the craic.

I have to agree with you on the Knobbie thing, I've got a banana skin front tire and it's a handful, but 2 banana skins, I'd be layin 'on my side looking like a turtle with that Triumph on top of me.

Wow your nuts but your mate on the Fz1 is even crazier. I've got an Fz1 150bhp 220kg of pure street muscle bike hats off to him for getting it round that track in 1 piece. You didn't do to bad either, it goes to show its the rider that makes the difference not the bike bravo sir bravo.

Hi, I am curious to know how it actually felt pushing this bike off-road. Does it feel light/heavy? Are you able to put your weight in a similar place on the seat as with a dirt bike for good balance distribution? Other elements that may have surprised you as it compares to a legit dirt or dual sport?
