TRS is definitely worth the upgrade price!!

When first setup we actually didn't know about the TRS, has since been installed in the trailers. I guess we may need an updated version to reflect that.

The price tag is one of the biggest reasons I most likely won't ever part with it.

They say you can gain friends if you buy a trailer, if you do that sometimes when you're helping friends with different projects (moving) some things get left behind. Sorry no official details on that one.

I definitely think any Harley or really any single motorcycle will fit in a 5x8 trailer, I've hauled two in mine before it was a tight fit but it worked. More tongue weight is generally considered better for trailer stability due to putting weight on the ball, as far as the capacity of the tow vehicle you're trying to use I don't know much about it, so I'm not comfortable sharing my opinion there. But I agree that a v nose 5x8 trailer would fit a single Harley quite well and give you a decent amount of room for other things.

@@workingclasscustoms Thank you for your info. I have been researching alot about the capacity of my car. I found a company that makes a class 3 hitch for it. The motor is a built 352 and has the power. I'll add air shocks to prevent any sag. But would use my suv on most trips. I like the 5' height trailers to transport because of aerodynamics and looks. The spec on the car for hauling is 3500lbs. Does your trailer sway any going down the road?

@@drodman34 honestly with a 5x8 they're so small you forget they're even behind you. Any trailer will sway a little but as long as they're loaded correctly the small ones don't usually get as dangerous. I have had zero issues with trailer sway on that trailer.

@@workingclasscustoms Great info. My biggest concern was tongue weight. I am looking at the weight distribution hitch also with most of the weight of a 800lb bike forward of the axle I'm not sure if that is necessary or not. Maybe I'm over thinking things but just want to be safe. Any experience with that type of hitch. Sorry for all the questions

The weight distribution hitches are great, they help give the weight back to the tow vehicles front axle so you can still steer and brake well. For a trailer that small and a bike it might be a little overkill but it really depends on what the tow vehicle is and what it can handle. Most weight distribution hitches also negate most of the trailer sway which is nice!
