I used to ride across London every day on an MZ ETZ301. Not exactly race-tuned, but I kept up with everyone. Fantastic little bike.

Small bike racing is awesome, so much fun! This is how you learn how to properly ride/race on a track or street.

Stupid ! Mike Hailwood on MZ 250 in 1963 won the GP of East Germany, Vmax 173 m p h. = 270km/h

Starting with an inline-4 600cc or bigger sportbike- extremely stupid. Much better to start lighter, with 30 horsepower. I think a heavier rider would do well on an old 500cc Kawasaki with upgraded suspension and tires. A new 390cc KTM is a lot more expensive, but better looking.
