Did you ground the black wire on your SCT firewire? I think I'm getting some interference -- I have the blue, black and green grounds all run together.

@@RacingRamFam on the sct firewire, theres 6 wires. Blue, green and black are grounds. I was curious if you grounded those or if you simply used one of the anolog wires (orange or red)

so do you drive around with the laptop and tuner both connected to the truck to get the readings ?

Yes. You can set the sct to do datalogging by itself but you can check the readings like you can with your lap top hooked up

@@RacingRamFam thank you ... i have a 2001 dodge ram , spent $21,000 in upgrades and cant seem to find anyone in my state to do a tune for it , and i have already spent $1200 on people that said the new what they were doing and didn't , so now i'm trying to do more myself , thanks for your help , i appreciate it
