I feel sorry for the wife and especially for the child who has far more better sense that his bigoty father , who ruined his family's Christmas day . Next day , the boy's father only walk into the job , he finds a surprise - Mr. Brown was the Santa Clause he pushed away . The main character would have been fired or demoted ... instead , Mr . Brown chose forgiveness .

I think there should have been one more scene taking place a little later maybe new years party or his son's birthday and its at the father's house and all of his friends are there and they are having a great time and some of his friends are black but the father is being nice to all of them. That would be a way to show he had changed. It would have been nice showing him make amends to his son for the way he acted.
