Күн бұрынRad Power Bikes recently moved from their old East Van location to a new 12k square foot downtown shop in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood of Vancouver, BC Canada that is 10 times bigger than before! This location includes a showroom and massive build + repair shop. It's surrounded by great spots to eat, bike friendly streets and trails, public transportation, and much of the staff now commutes into work by riding their bike. All Rad Power Bike showroom locations offer test rides, sales, and post-sale service for their electric bicycles. Wow! What an improvement over the old store. Last fall I was in Vancouver and made the trip to the old store. The staff was great but the store was so small that all the bikes were outside! Thanks for the tour.

Thanks for your reviews! I'm getting my radrunner next month , so excited. I love that Rad has help, how to topics on every part of the bike. I feel confident I can fix a flat and do my own repairs . Thats great support from Rad !!

We can't tell you anything about other stores, the one one 5th Ave is the only one we visited. But I can tell you, this is a beautiful store. Lots of room and what display off RAD bikes. After several drives on different bikes. It didn't take us long to decide, the model we fell in love with. To bad they only had one in stock, sure hope the second bike will be in soon. It is absolutely amazing bike. I don't have words to describe the beauty off this RAD 5. Last but not least is the friendly service. Highly recommended

Great promotion. Makes me want another rad. Keep it up. Best top to bottom Customer service. Riding Rad. Alot of people want to upgrade. For me at 67. Just want to ride, an at 20 miles a hour is ok for me. An if I want to go faster I can always pedal harder. Been watching you when you were on the docks in Seattle with the Rad city.. My first of 4. Wow! You’ve been a part of this for some time then. Thanks for the update, so glad to hear that the bikes are working well for you. I’ve enjoyed them a lot too. My Dad and Step-Mom got the RadRovers and love them. I like the RadCity. Which one is your favorite Dana?

Its hard to say. My first love was the rad city. Then I got the rad mini step thru. An its Torquey, an easy to get on an of for me being stiff in the joints. But now I have the rad Rover an it rolls over everything. So today I pic the rover as my favorite.

Good question... I suspect it is a city that's high on their list. Have you ever been to Amego EV there? I'm friends with Virginia, who is very cool, and they carry a bunch of interesting products... but the prices tend to be higher than Rad :)

@@ElectricBikeReview Hi Court, I have indeed been to Amego EV, both the store and their booth at the Toronto Spring Bicycle Show a few years ago. I do not often get to downtown Toronto since I live in a small town about 90 minutes away. I am 71 and have three e-bikes: an older Giant Twist Freedom DX with dual batteries, a Voltbike Yukon 750 and a 2019 Rad Mini which is my favourite. I think that RPB would be wise to expand to the Toronto area because e-bikes are really starting to catch on and since RPB offers a very good product at a fair price, I think that they would do very well here: just my thoughts. As someone who lives in Canada, in the Greater Toronto area, why doesn't Rad have a showroom in Toronto?? I've been thinking about buying a Rad ebike, but if there's a problem I want a mechanic and a store to bring it back to, not to have to ship it all the way out to Vancouver again. Think of all the potential customers you're losing out on by NOT having a showroom in the Greater Toronto area !

If you order a 100% built bike (VIP service?), a local mobile bike service builds the bike for you and they will fix flats or perform upgrades in the future. Follow the link off their web page to find out who performs this service in your area :)

dznrboy ......I live in Southern New Jersey and own a 2020 Covid Green Radrunner and have put it threw its paces / woods,mud, water and asphalt and it’s been flawless. Love to have a store definitely in this region.

Vancouver is a very bike friendly city with one of the highest urban bike paths. Markups on consumer goods in Canada are also generally higher.

Too bad all there bikes come only in one size. Yes, they say, basically, that one size fits all, but to put it bluntly, that's nonsense. I'm 6'4" and I don't fit on small/medium bikes, if you want to use it as a bike, instead of sitting upright and using the throttle. Least my comment seems like sour grapes, am happy that Rad is successful and recognize that their bikes work for the majority of riders.

Not a fan of masks, I come from Sth Australia where the risk is about 0, 1 in 5 wear them and they are eyesore to me, now we have Covid safe check in at shops, pubs, gyms, I just barrel straight on in to the grocery stores, thrift shops, pawn shops, Hungry Jacks (Burger King) made me fill in the Covid book when I went to buy burgers
