I was out of state June, July and came back mid August. My first visit at Waters Edge was August 24 for a biopsy that came back negative. Two weeks later I initiated another visit with my doctor and she did a second biopsy that was positive Squamous cell carcinoma. I was told by your PB pathology department office that waters Edge does not do EBT for anything except prostate or breast cancer. Wrong. So after waiting more than a month for Mohs, Dr Shiff recommended to use EBT. I am waiting for the Electron Beam Therapy first two appointments to start on Oct 12, 3021 at the Stuart office. My only concern is that this cancer on my shin of my leg has been hurting since June 1st. I wasn't aware it was skin cancer. I was treating it for an infection that would not clear up. It has been very painful and going on way too long already. And I haven't even started the weeks of Radiation. I hope to be finished before Thanksgiving. That will be 6 months.
