@@SpiritNectarthis was helpful. I was looking at buying a 6x4 slab of eudialyte which apparently is fairly radioactive. I figured I would either make cabochons or polish it, but both of those will make dust. It's an attractive slab but I already have health problems and the last thing I need are more.

@@YukonJack If you are concerned about radioactivity I would also watch out for blue apatite. Every sample I've seen is radioactive, even though most sources don't cite any concerns with radioactivity. Apparently this is due to it being a phosphate material and phosphate's propensity for harboring weathered throium in it's matrix.

Thank you I just bought 6 super small samples, but I bought lead sheet and a lead ingot to store with it. I’m excited and will wear a mask gloves and I think I’ll store it in a garage so it’s away from common areas.
