One of the greatest pieces of music ever written by a band and they done it while the UK was in a frenzy about straight 4/4 pub rock like Oasis (nothing wrong with that, i like Oasis). 25 years old and sounds like they done it yesterday its a timeless classic.

So glad u checked this out! Radiohead is quite an ecclectic group, they experiment with their sound quite often. I would personally reccomend Weird Fishes and How to Dissapear Completely, but truthfully they have such a solid body of work you cant go wrong!

Love to see you vibing to this one. This song is so dense and layered, it's crazy. And it definitely has that "prog rock" "three songs in one" thing going on, but they have a style unlike really any other band. Their songs have a really complex production with tons of little details to pick up on, what I like to call "headphone candy", perfect for people who like to really dive into the sound when they listen to music. They have a ton of great songs, but I don't want to spam a list of a dozen recommendations. I saw someone suggest "Sit Down, Stand Up", that would be a great one to check out next.

My two favorite bands: Yes and Radiohead. You should really listen to this album in its entirety. They ejected some killer songs they had written to get just the right songs in just the right order for this album. This is the second song, so backtrack and catch "Airbag" next, then move on to "Subterranean Homesick Alien". You should be pretty impressed and hungry for more by then - and they've got you covered. Peace from SF

This is one of those seminal albums, like 'Dark side of the moon', and you're spot on, it fits into the pantheon of prog albums as a later classic. Every track on that album is brilliant and unique, so much work went into it. Once you've heard a few more tracks , check out some live performances, you can't go wrong with their headlining at Glastonbury it was a real moment.

Pope - Love your vids and you are definitely scratching the surface of a few bands that could be on the Mt.Rushmore of rock music. I see you have not discovered Steely Dan. Start with "FM "(No Static at All) or "Do It Again" which was their first radio hit. They have a very special and unique blend of rock, jazz, and sometimes funk flavors in their music. The music is pristine and candy on the ears and their own groove. They are in the RRHOF. Trust us fans in the Dandom.

Thank you for reacting to one of my all time fav songs, from my fav band Radiohead, tied for #1 with The Beatles, PF, LZ, Yes, Genesis (old school) and TOOL. They are the best. I can't choose. I love all dearly, like children. How do you choose a favorite child. But, please continue with Radiohead and TOOL. Both have deep catalogs. I'm thinking of adopting BS into my horde.

Great reaction again, and as expected, Pope! Radioheads early albums - Pablo Honey (for Creep if nothing else), The Bends and OK Computer were massively successful, and rightly so - they were filled to the brim with great songs. After that, they went through a period of being widely criticise for being too downbeat and miserable, although the fanbase pretty much stayed with them. But in recent years, standout performances at big festivals reminded the wider audience of what a great body of work the band have produced over the years, helped by a great stage show and Thom Yorke appearing to actually be enjoying himself. Great writers, great musicians, great singer - Radiohead rock! Glad you enjoyed this, and there's lots more to discover here.

This album, 1997's OK Computer, is the one where they switched from being a pretty straightforward Brit-Pop band to... something a lot bigger and more interesting. Not to say their early work is bad, but this and their later stuff is my personal preference. My pick for your next reaction is Sit Down, Stand Up from the 2003 album Hail to the Thief.

I have never seen anyone react to that song it would be very cool I love HTTT even though it does not get that much love from some fans. I would love someone to react to A Wolf At The Door or Packed Like Sardines In A Crushed Tin Box everyone seems to react to the same shit all the time even if they are all great songs I would still like to see some variety. Radiohead is really a band like Pink Floyd in that you really should do the entire album to feel what the artists intended you to feel.

Yo, Pope! Another of my top, top tier bands. They're in that echelon just below Pink Floyd for me. You should check out the entire OK Computer album. Even "Electioneering" (which is considered by many to be the only dud on the album) is fine enough. If you want something more rocking, go with their older stuff, like "My Iron Lung" or "Creep". If you want their more experiential side, go with the album after OK Computer, which is Kid A (and it's my personal favorite). Try "Everything In It's Right Place" Then if you want something more electronic and upbeat from them, their later album "In Rainbows" offers up "Reckoner" Maybe another ballad? They something off their lastest album from 2016. Maybe "True Love Waits" There is so much good Radiohead music that this comment hasn't even scratched the surface.

@@lesblatnyak5947 first you need to know what experience thom yorke had writing the song, i'll put it in context. Lead singer Thom Yorke decided to bar-hop in Los Angeles one night, but what began as a festive evening soon became a nightmare as Yorke found himself surrounded by parasitic scene-stalkers intent on extracting a pound of Yorke-flesh. "The people I saw that night were just like demons from another planet," said Yorke, now safely ensconced in a New York hotel.
