We loaded the cooler with tasty fish from the Gulf Of Mexico while fishing with Captain Al with Scorpion King Charters. During this off shore Florida trip our choice bait was Greenback Shiners.
On this beautiful flat calm day we traveled 40 miles out to fish in 120 foot of crystal clear blue water. Our targeted species was Red Snapper, but as always we loaded the cooler with multiple species of fish. Red Grouper, Mangrove Snapper, Strawberry Grouper, Lane Snapper, Shark and Vermilion Snapper were just a few of the different fish we landed.

That's a Dusky Shark!!!!! 🦈 🦈 🦈 They have a very noticeable lateral line. The top is dark, olive brown to black, and the bottom half contrasts with a white color. Very nice catch. Very cool shark. Great video. Love the channel.

Watch the video. The bilge pump is pumping a LOT of water out of that boat multiple times. The boat is taking on water!

Not only was the bilge pump running constantly but they're afraid to turn the motors off I never heard of anything like that if you can't turn your motors off and restart them I would not go on the boat specially the way that bilge pumping that things ready to sink if you're going to own a boat you better get ready to do some maintenance on it specially if you're taking out customers

8:55 they poked the fish with a fillet knife to vent it you're supposed to use a venting tool or a descending device stabbing a fish with a fillet knife is the last resort

So I’ve never ever belly hooked bait in all my years of fishing, I either nostril, upper mouth or behind the dorsal hook my bait and I always catch fish, imo belly hooking is the fastest way to kill a live bait…. Explain why that method is the key.

Did you do any jigging on the wreck? Caught a 42 inch cobia last month on a 6 inch flat jig 32 miles off Anna Maria at the Halloween hole. First one ever on a jig was so stoked. I'd definitely buy a few to put in the box because it definitely works out there!👍👍♥️🐟

Vaughn had a jig set up, but I'm not sure if he fished with it. I'm kind of a rookie at off shore fishing. I love to bottom fish with live or dead bait. I've never jigged in deep water off shore.

Thank you for watching. I can't answer for the captain's choice to vent those fish. I could only guess that maybe he didn't have those things for some reason and did the best for the fish with what he had?

Can't stand these boaters throwing cast nets near the piers while people are trying to fish. They can try to catch bait all over the entire bay but they choose to interfere with pier fishermen. Such arrogance and lack of respect. FWC should make a law prohibiting boats within 200 yards of fishing piers.

@@averylefor7122 I have a fishing boat but we don't cast net for bait near fishing piers. Plenty of bridges are loaded with bait but no land fishermen. We get our bait and head offshore because we have the common sense and courtesy to respect land anglers.

What’s worse is when they have the entire ocean to fish yet they choose to fish near a jetty, pier or other public fishing place and get in the way of people fishing
