Royal Air Force aircrafts and helicopters soared in formation over an airbase on Tuesday April 25th during a flyover rehearsal ahead of King Charles’ coronation.
The practice run involved a variety of aircrafts, including Globemasters and F355B fighter jets, flying over the RAF Cranwell base in Lincolnshire County.
On the day of the coronation itself, 30 aircrafts will conduct a 6-minute flyover at Buckingham Palace in London.
King Charles became monarch of the United Kingdom and 14 other realms on the death of his mother Queen Elizabeth last September, but he will be crowned on May 6, in a ceremony full of pomp, pageantry and solemn religious significance.
