I was a big fan of both Rafael and his brother Gabriel back in the early-to-made 1990's. Both were entertaining to watch, as they both loved to brawl and were fan friendly. I was even in attendance for Rafael's fight with Oscar De La Hoya at Caesar's Palace back in 1995. His brother Gabriel knocked out Jimmy Garcia on the undercard, and Garcia unfortunately passed away a few weeks (?) later from his head injuries. Anyways, both brothers would have been even better fighters had someone taught them defense.
