Its no coincidence that Robert Garcia has done great things in boxing, including his father and Mikey. They come from a land of great and legendary men, called Michoacan. They have it in their blood. They have that Purepechan and Tarascan blood that makes them strong. Robert has gotten wiser and more skilled, he is the best trainer in boxing today. Nacho is older and basically retired, Freddie Roach has Munquia and thats about it. Everyone else is just training one champion. Robert has developed a factory of champions.

Purehpechan and Tarascan? You’re making 2 different distinctions when it’s just one. Also just because they are from Michoacan doesn’t mean they carry Purehpecha blood. When have you heard his parents talking Purehpecha? They are from Michoacan nothing less.
@Acordionista509Ай бұрын
Is there any current or former boxers from michoacan? I heard leo santa cruz is from michoacan
@Temachyotl33Ай бұрын
Some mean Michoacanos were the brothers Rene Arredondo and Ricardo Arredondo (both world champs). The Diaz brothers (Julio, Joel, Antonio) are another family of fighters, The legendary Efren Alacran Torres, he was a brawler, most of his fights were bloody spectacles. Of course the Garcia family. Notice that most of these are fighting families except for the legend Efren Torres.

I am old enough to have watched Robert Garcia but I don't think I ever saw him fight but as a trainer, I love the man. Mikey is another story, I watched his fights and was always a fan, these are two very classy men.

Que rollo con el gordito? He wants to train and for a month and a half and spar Robert. Robert was a good slick boxer people only know him from training and esnews but he was chicanitos training partner as a teenager he was beating corales till he got caught in my opinion
@jeffb5785Ай бұрын
I loved Victor Ortiz until one fight he cried when it was over and said something like I'm not supposed to get beat up like this, it seemed like if he ever had a big heart it was taken from him in that fight. Like Robert said you can have all the talent in the world but if you don't have the heart to stay in the fight you will get your @$$ kicked by some guy that lost 10 fights but stayed in the game.

They should ban that rehydration clause . It should be illegal to be in a contract. Complete BS.

What proved HIS Training was with Marcos Maidana ..he taught him a jab , foot work , head movement etc. He prospered Whopping Lopez , Karass , Broner then maywesther twice.
