I always liked the idea of Kurtis because of how he is just this cop thrust into an extraordinary situation, but faces it with courage and bravery. People see him as an oddball choice for Mortal Kombat, but given some of the characters involved, he's not TOO odd.

I love the original design of Stryker beacause it shows that he is just a normal guy who survived the invasion, he has no powers, mythical item, cyber body parts, or insane weapons he is a nypd cop who survived through experience, strength, and normal weapons

Ok, think about if we had kameo gears, Cyrax: could have a selection of chest plates or helmets. Sector: same as cyrax. Darius: could have different gauntlets/boots, giving off different colors during his kameo moves. Frost: could have different masks. Goro: could have certain helms like reiko, or different chest plates. Jax: could have certain things for his arms, wether it be sleeves, gloves, or just robotic arms. Kano: probably gonna have different cyber eyes, that might also change color like Darrius' gears. Kung Lao: probably obvious, but more hats. Motaro: could have different horns. Sareena: could use different sickles, or other blades. Scorpion: could have different masks Shujinko: maybe he could wear different types beards and such. Sonya blade: she could definitely use wrist gauntlets or something, for the blasts to come out of. Sub-Zero: again, more masks!!! And finally Stryker: think it would be cool to see him use a different baton, and gun. Similar to how homelander has a pair of the cape, and the pauldrons holding it.

Раньше я еще более менее понимал почему в 10 и 11 частях нет Страйкера, ну типа Соня тоже оперативник + Кейси, все дела, и многие наверное ждали его возвращения в последующих частых - но не так! Какая то фигурка просто юзает доп прием и все, даже диалогов нет, и более того нет ни Кейси ни Сони. Надо забрать у разрабов спайс уже наконец!

Когда МК3 вышел, фанаты жаловались на этого персонажа, он типо не вписывался в мир игры и был неинтересным, магические приёмы не использовал и тд, но в каком еще файтинге есть боец-коп? Да и как по мне, магические способности были более менее хорошо объяснены только в последней киноэкранизации (хотя сомнительно, что это канон), в самих играх мне было непонятно, почему земляне Кейдж, Джекс и Соня могли использовать магию. Я понимал, почему шаолиньский монах мог использовать магию или ниндзя, но актёр или спецназовцы?) Зато потом когда ввели Кэсси Кейдж и Джеки Бриггс - ну это же совсем другое)) Они же такие интересные)))
