It was followed by the latest installment Monster Hunter Rise which is due an massive expansion known as Monster Hunter Rise Sunbreak very similar to Monster Hunter World Iceborne; both of which introduced Master Rank the equivalent of G Rank in older titles such as Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, Monster Hunter 4 Ultimate, Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate and Monster Hunter Freedom Unite.

And the quick bite it did did only about 50-ish damage on this fight but every time it attacks with that the monster ALWAYS gets knocked down, giving a huge opening for those juicy double jaw slam

I love the vicory celebration explosion Savage Deviljho did at the end! 14:56 But yeah they were pretty much equally Matched but when R.Brachy entered Phase 2 and lost his slime explosion his damage fell a lot and thats why he lost. But still an awesome fight! The AI seemed pretty confused tho at times.

@@spazzyghidosafi4168 Oh hell no. Have you seen the lightning dragon damage that Alatreon spams and does. Jho is fucking huge so that shit does too much damage. Also his many explosions will help along with the dragon exploding ice crystals. Alatreon will definitely win as well as having way more health than Savage.

Oof it looks like Savage Jho kept on the pressure to keep Raging from executing his big move. I’m curious if Alatreon can also get it done next time. Really good fight overall and I’m glad you were able to get a way on how to get Raging working normally.

Thought I'd kill two wyvrens with one stone by letting you figure that out for yourselves which one is the biggest pain. Happy Hunting!

Good lord what a fight, it played out realistically as well. Savage Jho's Brute force durability and physical strength is greater than Brachy's letting him last the fight but Brachy's mobility and explosions kept him going. The real issue is when Raging Brachy goes all out. In his intense rage and determination, he ends up severely injuring himself with his own explosions during the muda muda. You can even notice doing that alone dropped his health from 3033 immediately to 2980 after charing his skin black. He's literally burned, scarred, and in immense pain but the adrenaline and rage are keeping him up to fight to the end. While similar it's not the same as Bloodbath Diablos's 2nd rage mode or Apex Diablos as those both gain significant power boost from it. Brachy technically weakens himself here but is pushing beyond with sheer willpower and anger to put his opponents down in a literal final stand. This decrease in his health plus the immense strength of savage jho was enough to put him down for the count; however, Savage Jho himself walks out heavily injured and exhausted from all the energy being spent in that fight so even if he won he'd be close to succumbing to the wounds and after effects likely dying shortly after a fight like this. Immediately after winning, he starts to eat brachy to regain some strength and energy to try and survive. Truly an immense battle of strength and willpower, thanks for this.

Doesn't help Raging was taunting Savage the entire time. Although in a lore standpoint even a Savage wouldn't be able to put down a Raging. It isn't called the strongest Variant for nothing after all. Not saying Jho wouldn't put up a HELL of a fight, it's just that Raging literally coined the term "Literally too angry to die" while Jho is the term. I've said this before and I'll say it again here. Raging Brachy isnt Brachy anymore, it's the fungus. It's like Cordyceps if Cordyceps was explosive and reproduced via brainwashing a blue kangaroo dinosaur and causing it to mercilessly slaughter everything in its way.

Well his final Stand killed him. He did basically no Damage anymore, his Head didn't affected Savage, and he didn't detonate his Slime. Also he was countless Time on the Ground, while Savage was only once knocked out, and Raging didn't attack him at the Time.

@@Fallensabre-uw7hb Lore wise Savage Jho is still considerd the strongest of the brute wyverns with Raging Brachydios in second and Hellblade Glavenus in third place, even if we take varients/subspecies/deviants out of the image regular deviljho is still considered the top tier brute with brachy and glav close behind him. It's not that it's impossible for Brachy or Raging to win but in a prolonged battle Jho's going to come out on top the majority of the time being evolutionarily desgined to. He's got the highest physical strength, health, defense/durability, and his constant hunger and anger forces him to become stronger and more aggressive hunting other species into extinction including brachy if he feels worth doing so. Jho will get stronger as the fight progresses meanwhile brachy keeps jho at bay with blast slime. Even in iceborne if they're both in the same area brachy and most monsters will generally leave shorty after jho appears even if they fight back breifly with jho usually hunting them down across the map to continue attacking. It's a matter of who lasts longer during a prolonged battle and while both are aggressive fighters jho would be the one to willingly force the fight to continue even if the opponent backs down not just out of anger but because the constant hunger causes jho to keep fighting for a meal in order to survive to the point where even elder dragons become potential opponents where Brachy/Raging will try to avoid them alltogether or temporarily fight if given no other option before trying to get away. Also if Raging goes all out which he'd have to against jho, it not only severely damages him but also causes a major decrese in the amount of slime available and with less slime to explode along with physically weaker punches it's only a matter of time before the continual assult of a savage jho getting hungier and stronger throughout the fight does Raging in. Brachydios is very powerful and dangerous but it's mainly on the account and realiance of the symbiotic slime covering the body, if Brachydios never had slime on the species would not be nearly as formidable to hunters and monsters alike. While still agile and strong, deviljho still would outclass brachy in that field let alone savage.

Raging didn't lose in my opinion it was in fair a bullshit fight raging brachy did get to blow up is super slime in the end room because mounting a monster stop them uses the whole move set stop mounting monster for the zoomed out camera and just stand on the ground

This video is what if the Jotaro and DIO fight took place in and alternate universe where the stand users ARE the stands. DIO had the power of Bites The Dust and Jotaro was pissed not cause DIO killed someone but because he was just hungry. Too add to that, most of the music sounds like it came from an Elder Scrolls game. This is starting too sound like one of those anime combination memes but with different elements.

I think brachy would have taken it if it weren’t for his second phase. The whole warmth gimmick didn’t seem to work on jho and losing the explosions gives him a real disadvantage. Great fight

@GunlessSnake Brachy stage one was pretty solid, but jho just kept getting angrier as the fight goes on. Final stage brachy loses much of its advantage and that made the difference here.

@@tankhonghong706 You gotta also consider that lorewise Deviljho is, physically, the strongest Brute Wyvern of them all, the fact it can not only carry things much bigger than itself, but flail them around like toys is scary, the reason why the monsters flinch is due to it's raw strengh, same thing happens with Rajang.

@@gojigiante Agna Kotor and Brachydios are in a match at the beginning of the movie. Evil Joe can also defeat Agna Kotor. Brachydios is also powerful, but Evil Joe is the strongest in the regular setting

Makes me wonder if it would have been a closer fight, if Brachy actually decided to detonate the slime in Phase 2 instead of just standing there grunting and getting knocked over. So many chances to blast Jho but never even tried.

After seeing this video for a few times I’ve come to the conclusion that we need a savage deviljho vs alatreon. Seriously it would be amazing. Don’t do it in the secluded valley tho because it glitches monsters ai, maybe in raging brachydios arena? Then both ai could work.

Omg this fight was amazing. And I was rooting for Savage but I thought raging would win but I really wanted to see how close of a fight it was.... Turns out I was wrong! Savage won by quite a bit even with raging having more health so I was surprised. Maybe if the fight would be have been more accurate if savages dragon beams did damage and does slimes in the last phase did damage. But nonetheless what a great fight.

*SPOILERS* I placed my bet on Raging Brachydios, since it's my second favorite monster as well... But anyway, I've seen Brachy getting the upper hand initially, maybe because of the explosions? But it appears that what made Brachy lose were the animations: it has to spend seconds to growl and lick its knuckles, also when it may want to move into another area, it has to roar. Jho just doesn't have to care about these problems since he doesn't have them, and just went full batshit most of the time. It also seems that Brachy was going to get serious when literally over (it enraged). But I'm not going to complain, both have their potential. Also another question, why can't we see the percentages of the health here? Maybe because they weren't needed given the amount of health? Just curious. Also keep up with the good work!

I had my bets on Savage since hes my 2nd Favorite monster aswell lol. I knew if he whould get to Phase 2 and they had around same hp he whould win. Brachy looses his explosion damage in Phase 2 so he did much less damage.

Definetely a case of gameplay mechanic not reflecting lore. Jho should've been covered in slime and down easily. But of course slime dosen't really attach to monsters in game. I can see Brachy's need to recharge his slime and self damge attacks giving Jho a chance, but 9 times out of 10, Jho loses hard here. Good video and happy to see Raging Brachy in these videos at last.

The one downside Raging Brachy had in this fight is the he has a lot of down time compared to Savage Jho, who literally just attacks and attacks and attacks relentlessly. I feel if he spent less time licking his slime, and his final area explosions went off like his regular slime instead of sitting around until he roars, I think he could've taken it. Good fight, and a victory meal worthy of a Champion ❤

Very good I was rooting for raging Brachydios though. I do love savage jho tho just not as much Now if this were in realise things would’ve played differently though it still would’ve been close See raging brach has to resist his own explosion hence why his shell is extremely tough so the dragon breath and any physical attacks wouldn’t do much, but his underside is vulnerable so jho would probably try to attack the neck and head first because he wants to take raging brach down, he’d quickly realise he can’t bite through that shell and needs to find a new place to attack hence going for the underside and getting punched sometimes. And let’s not forget that a regular brach killed an agnaktor through the extremely durable shell with the slime alone and jho has scars from much weaker attacks so imagine what a RAGING brach’s slime would do to it *insert exploding pickle* so yeah if jho avoids the slime and goes for the underside it’s very close but raging Brachydios seems to have a height advantage and just needs to get some slime on jho’s head, neck to kill and on the back and legs to immobilise him, check mate Great video and I just think that’s how things would go if the fight happened un real life with real life physics. Don’t know what to say now

@ Green door That was a good read and I think most people including myself agree that in a real life encounter raging brachydios would probably win. But I reckon any slip up and savage deviljho manages to grab hold of brachy; than it's over. Savage deviljho I think is physically stronger, but more vulnerable to Raging Brachydios's fire power.

Brachydios is actualy weaker in his last phase as the slime puddle does not damage jho while a hunter melts on them.. ealier phase of brachy.. his slime explodes quickly dealing damage to jho.. just my opinion though... still a good fight...

Nah I think it'll scale, hellblade glavenus would rival or equate to a normal deviljho while a normal glavenus is weaker as well as hellblade glavenus being weaker than savage deviljho. I would pair a raging bratchy to a hellblade glavenus first

G4 Hellblade has to have been one of the hardest fights in the game, he’s the sole reason I decided to master Valor LS. And I may be dumb and not understand properly, but saying that Hellblade is base Jho level is just blatantly false, deviants are all mid elder dragons level and Hellblade, Bloodbath and Grimclaw are all on par with shit like arch tempered Lunastra and ruiner Nergi.

Raging did basicly no Damage in the last Phase, and not even detonate his Stuff, so dissapointing. I understand thats part of his Hunt, but its so sad. He probably would have made it. And the AI is still super anoying how it favores Player in the worst Moments, this Time on both. Brachy just stands there after he got his only Topple on Savage, and attacks the Air, and then Taunts. But Savage wasn't better eighter. But it was pretty entertaining seeing them doing there Stuff.

What happened to the Brachy's AI? He was screaming and attacking the air for 3/4 of the battle. If the battle would have continued as it was happening in the beginning, I don't think that the pickle would have any chance.

Not bad pickle not bad it never stops amazing me at how brutal they made his ai to other monsters even with rage brachy’s unique gimmick, it wasn’t enough when that second phase came around. If only we had duramboros, hellblade glavenus, and heck even abiorugu from frontier, to further determine who truly is the strongest brute, but as it stands in MHW/Iceborne alone savage jho is the brute wyvern king.

But since 5th gen MHW introduced the turf war mechanic and we can more clearly see how his AI was built to make other monsters into past tense, I can see the monsters say to the hunters: "You thought your day was bad?? at least you only get targeted in hunts and when it attacks your village, WE'RE ALWAYS ON THE RUN EVERYDAY IT'S HERE. 対モンスターを設定していない設計というより、持続ダメージ狙いがMFだと弱い。 怒り喰らうイビルジョーのブレスもそう。 MF強い超大型は、持続ダメージでもモンスターにダメージ入る(ミラボレアス)か、持続ダメージの攻撃を使わない(マム・タロト)のどっちか。 アルバトリオンもエスカトンジャッジメントが持続ダメージじゃなければマム・タロトに負けなかっただろうし

世界観上ならヨダレでどんな硬い甲殻もブヨブヨに溶かして咀嚼するイビルジョーが強過ぎる。金属も腐食させるからブラキ、ガンキンみたいに硬い部位を武器にしてるモンスターはすぐやられちゃう 世界観か怪しいけど龍属性がモンスターにも機能するならブラキの粘菌がマジで効果なくなる
