CG-04 refers to the model name, it's for ISCG05 On Ztto official store: a.aliexpress.com/_Ez5vuQH CG-11 also looks nice, If I'd need one today I'd get it, since the bashguard and upper chain guide aren't useful on CG-04: a.aliexpress.com/_EG9K8Kd Note: the only issue with compatibility is with the gear ratio, you need one that's close as possible to the Big Al's magic gear (otherwise the guide will hit your chain stays before enough tension is created)

Hey just checking back in, built up my Ragley big Al with singlespeed tonight. With a 32/20 ratio, my chain was too slack with the ztto tensioner. I ended up modifying it though- took a saw to the little spacer bar that stopped you from using it to create downwards tension (it still held together fine). Also swapped the metal jockey wheel out for a plastic one from an old derailluer. Its reduced noise somewhat, but im thinking ill file the teeth down to make it quieter

Thanks! It's a medium, front tyre is a 2.4 rear is 2.35 (might go 2.5-2.6 when they wear out). I think the carbon rims stiffness depends a lot on the builder and the carbon layout. The Horizon's are amazing value for a relatively low price

Some people like the bmx chains, but I also heard a lot of SS riders recommending simple 8 speed chain (my KMC Z8 has been working well so far). It comes with a reusable quick master link & it fits through the ztto guide with no issues. Note: for me 32x19 didn't work well on the Big Al because the chain had too much slack, so the jockey would hit my chainstays. I've run 34x20 & 30x20 successfully (these are very close to the Al's magic gear, so there's less slack for the tensioner to deal with)

@@ssmtbthanks for the insight. I'm using a KMC K710S chain with 32 x 21 setup (only rear cog I could get my hands on). I think I'll try to go up to a 34 x 21 cuz right now it's about 1/2 link too long. Hopefully that's close enough to that golden ratio for my Marley and might give more clearance between the chain and the chain stay. I tried to do it old school and just mate the Male and female links together by pushing out the pin partially then reinstalling them but I destroyed the chain breaker. Most likely just going to buy an 8 speed chain cuz the quick link on the current BMX chain setup is still fouling on the chain guide.
