agree, if you have all the necessary tools. Imagine buying or at least borrowing the nail gun, saws and trailet to haul all the material. Now the ready made and delivered shed seems to be not that much expensive anymore. Nevertheless it was a great work and I wish I could do this as well

Such a gorgeous book - each shed is unique and inspiring, and I love all the tiny details Kotite features to help readers imagine how to create their own She Sheds kzfaq.infoUgkxe9yi0sulKgsp0VJJCIrLWWkvVqcU7LFR . The feature on Dinah's Rustic Retreat is like something from a fairy tale. It's really inspiring to see how creative all these ordinary people are in making beautiful and useful spaces on a modest scale.

The video was an inspiration to me. I had in mind to build one very similar to your design only on a raised platform. I did build it, thanks to your instruction, be it ever so quick! Our backyard is on a slope so it was a bit challenging having to rent scaffolding etc. On to #6 building the door.

I'm totally envious and admire the intelligence and patience builders have. I watched this thinking "I can do this!" Nope! I have the time and the money, I just don't have the drive. I still have a metal pergola sitting in pieces in the yard that I'm trying to figure out but will probably pay someone else to put together. Great job bro. I'm truly in awe of your work.

Really cool video! Only concern would be the lack of foundation. I would have personally dug 4 holes with posts as a foundation. But if you feel safe with your natural ground in that area (freezing ect) then maybe this would work for you.

Built the same but I flooded the floor with concrete then tiles on top of that BTW I also used the old plastic sand and cement bags on the bare ground, and concreted over that, so it forms a damp barrier - love this design of shed though

A few things: You most likely get timber at trade prices, most people don't, so you save a considerable amount of money. There was already a concrete peripheral support in place, again most people would need to add that as a cost. Most people wouldn't understand noggins etc so this video isn't for the amateur, this is for experienced woodworkers
@RagnBoneBrown
@RagnBoneBrown 2 жыл бұрын
1. No, I do not get trade prices for timber. 2. This is not a "how to" video. Slabs or cement blocks could be used though, and are not expensive. 3. Building a shed is not a beginner level project, so a basic understanding of carpentry and terminology is necessary in my view
