We've had good luck with this as a gateway game with new players, just a solid game and easy to teach.

I'm really glad to have found your channel! Is the echo/reverb part of the room you're in or part of the sound editing? I find it distracting.

For the auction, you actually can use any card in your hand. So you can use gold face down to bid for gold. Which could be a good thing if you are bidding on a 2 gold and use two 1 golds as your bid

At about 11:19, you went to reduce the value of red, but it was already showing 3 pips - when you laid it back down after the 'reduction' it was still showing 3 pips.

The link to the extended runthrough at the end has a timestamp marker thingy, so it jumps to the middle of the extended video.

At about 19:52, you mention that you do not want to reduce the value of the green die after you already did :)

11:14 Found a mistake. You reduced the red die from 3 to 3.

I've imported this game from germany, played with 2 friends 2 times. We hated it. I started to think Rahdo's tastes was rather dubious. However after playing with only 2 players the game was awesome. I wonder now with 4 players how it will go...

"if if if" ... stay focused on the 2 player game you are trying to explain please!! For a 2 player game, do you draw 1 card at a time, and keep 1, give 1 and 1 to the discard? If goes fast yes, but god I dunno why I have a hard time following this.

Where does Jen put that 1st church card revealed AFTER she uses it to bump up the blue dice to 4? DOes the card get discarded? You are hard to follow...

yes, those cards are removed from the game. i mentioned this when i said she now has fewer cards than me, after using and discarding the die modifier
