Golden Era huh...!! These guys lost 0-4 in this series and then headed towards a 0-4 in Australia.. These guys might have some good individual scores in their careers in SENA countries but they couldn't manage to win a single series in the SENA countries.... It's only after post dhoni test era ,they are able to win some of the series in SENA countries because of their positive attacking approach.

@@vijayXvirat Performance matters, and Dravid has better performance in England and overall as well. Even after he made almost 60-70% more runs than Virat. So, better sustained performance. Virat has some clear weaknesses like he can't cut or sweep. This is why fast bowlers bowl wide lined deliveries to him and spinners target his sweeping capabilities. And he's doing nothing in the right direction to improve himself. He is neither playing Ranji/Duleep trophy to tackle spin nor playing County to get better against pace. This is why he's yet to score a 100 since 2019. Unlike him, Sachin kept playing domestic cricket throughout his career and always learned new shots/techniques to get better at the game. For every delivery, Sachin normally had 2-5 options to play. He could choose whichever he felt more confident and more convenient. Virat doesn't has this because he doesn't practice for it.

@@AAAAAA-gj2di bro you need to think about workload too during Sachin time there was ample amount of time gap between series/matches but right now the scheduling of the matches has been changed virat needs to manage and play all the three formats and he doesn't get enough time to play domestic cricket but he doesn't have this type of spin weakness in 2016_2019 post covid his test from dipped a little bit but i believe he can overcome his rough patch in upcoming bgt trophy I still remember people used to question his form and place in T20 and we all know what happened in T20 wc he will come back for sure in tests too

@@vijayXvirat oh seriously? Workload? Kohli keeps taking rests in recent times. He has to rest in international series but can play the whole 2 months IPL tournament? Also, in the 17 years from 1991 to 2007 (including his tennis elbow and other injuries) Sachin played 396 ODIs. *That's over 23 ODIs per year* . For your info, India are going to play less than 40 ODIs in the 4 year phase 2023-27. That's less than 10 ODIs per year. Even in the last 7 years, Kohli has only played 99 ODIs, that's just 14 ODIs per year. Test matches are held less frequently nowadays too. All this workload things are a hoax. You've got to prioritise. England also play a lot of cricket, much more than India. Root always prioritises international cricket (that too test and odi) above league cricket.

Dravids guard is standing between 4th and 5th stump line and takes a big stance with left leg to cover the line of the ball to face Jimmy Anderson for a perfect block without hesitation... most batsmen tend to get trapped under Jimmy mainly because of the stance I guess and big front foot to cover the swing of the ball both ways..

Daryl Mitchell. Now don't start that he's nowhere near Dravid, obviously he isn't. But in this tour of England, he defended a lot of balls coming onto front foot and advancing a lot as well. He scored 538 runs in just 3 matches at the average of 107.6.
