Richards was given out quite a few times when he was not out especially LBW. That was an easy way for umpires because DRS was not available then. Once he was given out in India when he was a long way down the pitch batting brilliantly on 67. He had then broken furniture in the dressing room as far as I know.

You missed telling the truth. The lbw was touch and go could be considered out as well. It was a great sequence of play which Botham won. First ball short ball next ball a short of length out swing and the 3rd ball was a brilliant in swinger from almost the same spot. What a plan and the skill to execute.
