I vividly remember playing this when I was around 10yo or so. A older guy at my church brought his console and was playing this. I'd beg him to play with him. Once I learned how to play it, I'd always beat his ass with Raiden even when he was using his favorite Viper. He tried SOOOOO many times and was getting frustrated at the end lmaooooooooooooo

You can easily destroy Viper by using your laser beam attack , all it needs is two straight hit , and then he'll finished......

I never used the straight double laser if it's against players, it's too slow and predictable. Always use the quad laser, a lot faster and hard to avoid.

Double laser lasts longer, turning and shooting it on the side of a running players is more likely a hit.

@@Paradauskasify woah I'm surprised I got a reply from you. Back in the day, I used to play this a lot against other competitive players. Very unlikely to hit if you're playing good players, just pure luck if you hit which is very rare. This part I'm quite sure. It's been more than 20 years, so certain things I can't recall anymore. I'm not sure if the straight quad lasers can shoot diagonally upwards, when the opponent jumps nearer to you. Maybe you can try that out if you still have the game.

@@miscthings2559 it is true that good players rarely dash to side while shooting vs raiden so landing laser while spinning is used on amateurs. Quad lasers go a bit higher than normal, I think dorkas can duck under them.

I used to play this back in the day too and found dual lasers better. Quad lasers take time to shoot but they travel faster when out but the dual ones shoot straight away but the beam is slightly slower. I have had a few players run into the side of it before

After playing single player multiple times, the computer AI becomes too easy and predictable that even Very Hard difficulty is not challenging. I have to make it more interesting by stop using bombs (when using Temjin and Raiden) because the AI always retreat straight back when it sees a bomb. It is a lot more fun playing with other players.
