Yup. What made Al Davis great and so progressive in the NFL was his motto "Just win baby!" You can be a minority, you can be an outcast, you can be whatever, just win. Raiders were the first team with a minority qb, a minority hc, a female exec, etc. They were the trailblazers that led the NFL to change. Mark Davis copied his fathers motto but he aint winning. As a lifelong Raiders fan all I can say about McDaniels firing, it’s about time and he never should’ve been hired to begin with. With that said that brings to my next comment Rich Bisaccia. Given the tremendous job, he did as interim HC in 2021, you would think the man would get a HC somewhere within that time, especially when folks are lining up to give bad HC like a McDaniels chance after chance. I want to know why Rich can’t be given a HC job somewhere, obviously there is a hidden story there. On another note, it would be interesting to see if Davis actually can swallow his ego, call Rich and say sir I think I made a mistake. Would you be interested in Raiders HC job? Given that’s what most Raiders fans now want and frankly most of us felt Rich had done enough to be retained anyways.

I'm not a Raiders fan, but my work has given me tickets to Allegiant Stadium games. Raiders do have a great fanbase, and watching the sea of black fill the streets is pretty cool. The fans do show up in Las Vegas, but like all fan bases, winning helps improve those numbers. It's not just a travel spot for other fans.

While I get the frustration. I sat back and looked at it from a simple fact. This is the same WR core from last year with the exception of the Juju loss and Rashee filling in the role. If you actually watched every Patriots game, you would realize that Mac Jones is the problem, not the OC. The OC doesn't call plays where you throw the ball to the other team, or take a sack that takes you out of field goal range, or complete meaningless passes for loss of yards instead of throwing it away. This dude is being ignorant in regards to Davis. As a Raider fan I have MANY issues with Davis but I need to defend him here. Ok Gruden getting 10 years was too much. Gruden in fact had built a playoff team, yes him and Mayock drafted some busts but they also drafted Maxx Crosby who is top 5 defensive player PERIOD! Drafted Jacobs, brought in Waller who had a few monster years, helped develop Carr into a better Qb, Ruggs was developing into a legit number one before the dui, no way could a GM predict a player is gonna commit a crime like that, just like Davis couldn’t know that emails sent by Gruden 10 years before would end that relationship the way it did. Davis should not be blamed for Gruden, Gruden built a playoff team. Now the move to Vegas, yes it definitely killed the home filled advantage. But again in fairness to Mark he negotiated with Oakland, it was bad enough they shared a stadium with a baseball for so long (literally having our kicker kick FGs in dirt) but the city was supposed to put 20 million into the stadium when they moved back there in 1998, they put one million into it and never another dime, the city actually tried to sue the team back for that when they moved. The Oakland stadium was one of the worst in the league, now they have one of the best stadiums in the league. So bash Davis all you want but the stadium and moving was not on him, neither was Gruden.

i'm not one for losing there job but it's like come on man. i almost punched the tv when he went for it on 4 and 10 with 7 minutes left at the 35 yard line. no faith in your defense.

He would've been fired regardless. 6-11 last season. 3-5 this season. Those numbers isn't good enough to save his job as a head coach.

What I don't understand & every bad organization does this. Why dont organizations give coaches time to develop their players and systems. They hire new coaches with players that were drafted into other system fits and wonder why they don't pan out. If you look at coaching stability, it is always correlated with winning.
