Raiga: Strato Fighter - ALL Clear, no deaths

No cheats or tool assistance such as savestates. Played with autofire.
Went back and improved the score on my previous run. There are random item carriers that can drop Extend items in both loops of stage 5 as well as in loop 2, stage 6.
The hard part is you need to aggressively milk the final boss in both loops, but time it properly so you kill it before the boss suicides (costing you points for the kill). You can get about 120,000 safely from milking before going for the kill.

I know I commented on one of your clears at some point in the past, but I don't see one here so I assume this is newer and old vid got removed, but good job again. I finally got to sit down and really examine this game under a fine lens beyond a precursory glance at the first three stages since that last comment I remember making too. I dunno why I didn't get into Raiga originally, but this game DEEPLY hooked it's claws into me as of last week. I somehow never noticed previously all these years how hard the game goes once the 2nd half begins. I want to get into this game more in the future once I am done with another project I am working on, but your video via KZfaq URL is currently what I have listed for my project when it comes to replays that demonstrate what the game is capable of for those that are looking at it for the first time.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I think I had an earlier run posted where I had some deaths, then when I got REALLY into score attacking it I decided having both runs up was a bit redundant. I think I discovered it first on Ghegs' channel? It was neat seeing a game that went all in on left/right shooting long before Deathsmiles existed, and the aesthetics and music of the game really gripped me. I'm a sucker for games with O'Neill Cylinders. It's quite brutal in terms of recovery if you die at a bad spot, but this is balanced out by how insanely strong you are at max shot power, and how many powerups you end up getting.

Thanks! It took a lot of practice to be able to learn to nail a deathless run (and a lot of failed runs, I still have the video showing a lot of the deaths, haha). I'm still sad I don't know how the world record gets such higher scores. I'm missing something, but not sure what, and it's worse because I've been told this is the highest scoring video of the game on the internet. :/ I was hoping to push for higher scores and compete for the world record at one point but I'm out of ideas where I can make big point gains! Oh well, I'm still happy with it. It's a super fun game!

@@BareKnuckleRoo I don't know what to tell you, I figured you were going for score, since you didn't smash the last boss both times. I used to play this in the arcade all the time in the 90's. One of the most unique shooters in my honest opinion.
