Railroad online is a Realistic physics train sim, where you create your own tracks to different industries and deliver goods all around a open world sandbox map.

I love railroads online, I've sunk over 230 hours into it and always come back for me, it is in alpha so its still being worked on, but there is still a lot of enjoyment to get out of it. If your not sure, watch the video and make a opinion for yourself!

One thing I would like in future vids would be to leave the colour in when you speed up time. I just think it looks nicer. Otherwise thank you for introducing me to this little gem!

I would like to make some videos about these gems (RRO and Loco), but don't know how to make them interesting. What playback speed do you feel is good in creation games so they aren't boring, and how much gets cropped out?

This was something like 2 hours worth of footage, cut out alot of walking, any errors like not making it up the first hill out of the sawmill. A good thing to do is just try it, see what works for. Everyone has a different style. Then the option for doing voice live or voice over, which I decided in the moment if I feel like talking for a few hours or edit it and then just do a quick voice over. Mostly personal preference and alot of rewatching, if I find myself loosing intrest while watching it I cut it out. Which can be difficult too, because I may not find it intresting but someone else might. I try to limit silence as much as I can, which is why I use music from Epidemic Sound. If you ever need advice or help or even want me to watch a video before you upload I totally can!

Railroads Online Extended Engine Control window. I just installed this to use for making videos. Maybe I don't have it correctly but I do not like having to Alt Tab to the window every time I need to use it. I seen you Alt Tab to it but then other times it looks like your accessing it from the game with no Alt Tab. Is this just a video editing look or can you set Extended up to be accessed in the game window? When I Alt Tab to the Extended Controls My Game Volume is off because I am out of the program and that is not good for videos. I have 1,324.4 Hours in this Game....I have a Love Hate relationship with it, The fact that I still play it is proof I am a Broken Person that likes the game. I play Single Player so that is another reason I would like to use Extended. No one around to yell at me for playing it the wrong way according to the Train Gods of Steam. I unfortunately have to alt tab everytime too, I've edited train sounds back in in post so you can't hear it, and cut out some of the screen flicker from the alt tabbing. I do wish there was a better way aha.

@@sidspooki I use 2 monitors (the 2nd is smaller) and only have to enter a menu that unlocks the mouse to get to it.
