Rain brings the allotment alive

16 күн бұрынAfter a couple of weeks of hot weather we are back to a normal with rain and thunderstorms and the plants are loving it. I planted more main crop potatoes to follow the early potatoes we harvested last week.

Thank you Huw, i try to keep it clean and tidy so its a nice place to be for our family and easy to maintain. Always lots of plans for improvements and a busy winter making changes planned.

If anyone needs any rain, you're more than welcome to take ours in Scotland. It hasn't stopped raining since October. The only plants that are thriving are water lilies.

We could use some rain it’s insanely hot 🥵 here in SW Canada (topping out at 36c). So plants are either loving it or 😢 not. I’m hiding in the house most of the day but hey I can catch up on videos to watch 😂. Enjoyed the RHS updates too. Have a super week, Ali 🌞🥵🫠🇨🇦

Really glad you enjoyed the RHS show videos, Im going to RHS Flower Show Tatton Park soon so lots of plans for more videos and I have a better idea of what to expect this time. I think we are in for more hot weather next week so at least our tomatoes may get a chance to grow.

We have gone from so dry I cant water enough to everything getting soaked by the rain, now the weather forecast says its going to switch back to hot again.

Looks amazing. Wish I could leave my veg so unprotected. The birds have been crazy this year, they've attacked everything

Thanks, rabbits are my main problem at the allotment so everything has to be fenced.
