Actually what she was mentioning in regards to kosher it’s not accurate at all. It’s how the animal is slaughtered and a rabbi has to supervise that animal being slaughtered and with what they’re being slaughtered with and making sure that the facility is kept clean and sanitary and then it’s separate from other things that aren’t considered kosher but he does not have to make a blessing over it

This is not a Shawarma…in the turkish cousine this is called „Dürüm“. A Shawarma would be the same kind of meat but served in a 1/4 of a flat brad - like a sandwich 🥙…

@@ShantiDoss2000 Hi! Not sure where you live - but when in Europe and ordering a Shawarma, the food is not served in this way. The origin of dish is turkey. Döner kebap (Döner (or Donair - I assume used in the U.S. for spelling reasons) translates to “something spinning around” - Kebap translates to “meat” - “shish kebap” translates to “chicken meat”). The original Döner is the meat served on a plate, vegetables, sauce and breadcubes of a flatbread, topped with a scoop of melted butter. To stuff the meat into a 1/4 of a flatbread and offer it “to go” was the invention of a turkish Immigrant here in Germany in 1972. It is the most popular fast-food here, above hamburgers or pizza. The form it is served in this vid is called “Dürüm”, the meat rolled into a tortilla style bread - normally vegs and sauce added - unless to ask the staff to leave it out…

Arby's has a pretty tasty fake Greek gyro, probably the closest you'll come to this in fast food! Unless you travel to the east coast; then it's Middle Eastern food heaven :)

I don't know where you come from but we don't eat dogs and cats here. Do you not realize that the meat we purchase in the grocery store is bred solely for human consumption? They are not pets or even animals in the wild. They would not be on this earth if not to provide sustenance to nourish our bodies. If you choose not to eat meat that is your right but you do not have the right to try and force others to not eat meat. A healthy diet does consist of animal protein as well as a variety of other foods so quit being a hater. If you don't like what you see then have some class and just move on.

I was saying that the animals raised for food (that live in staggeringly horrible conditions until they die) have the same basic tenants of those pets we cherish. They feel, they bond with their offspring, & they fight for their lives before the knife is stuck in their throats.

Jhatka - The animal is killed instantaneously, by a single stroke of a sword/axe to behead it. The animal is killed in an instant. Halal: A well-sharpened knife to make a deep incision that cuts the front of the throat, the carotid artery, trachea, and jugular veins. The animal bleeds while being alive, suffers, and dies painfully. Very very cruel, as the man is supposed to look into its eyes.@@mahwishkhan8528
