Thank’s for the review… I’m not a Rainbow High completionist, but I hurt the bank account, and bought all three. In my opinion these latest dolls series 3, Slumber Party , and Rock band are the best… love them especially Vanessa & Carmen .

Carmen and Vanessa are definitely Top Tier. Must have for collectors! And yes, as a collector who has every Lol Omg Fashion doll, Rainbow High doll, and a W Club member, it can be overwhelming and definitely expensive. It is a relief when a doll is released and I don't feel obligated to buying, lol. So many great dolls I have to keep making space for. Thank you for your awesome reviews!

Carmen is definitely the standout for me and the only one i'm planning to buy, Lyric especially I can take or leave. Seems kinda like an another Amaya.

i normally dont correct people but as a spanish speaker theres been a miss conception about brianna's last name her last name is pronoced dulce is spanish for sweet dolce is italian for sweet and in briannas bio on the website it states shes from spain just wanted to put that out there

I love Vanessa and can’t wait until she shows up in Canada! So far, the list price is $60 CAD, which is basically $50 US. Regular RH dolls are $40, so that’s not bad. I like Carmen a lot too, but the number of dolls and higher prices at this this time means being more selective.

I'm glad I'm not one of those who buys every RH or OMG item, but it's still tough to pick and choose favorites out of these Rockstar and Slumber Party dolls. I like Vanessa's look but I think I like Carmen the most as a full package but Lyric has my favorite outfits.

GREAT review as always GREAT details of the dolls which has me second thinking of buying Carmen . Funny thing about these Dolls is the LEAKS of the Dolls with PRICES was very disappointing, because when they hit the stores pricing was far from what the LEAK showed , especially on the last couple of RH Dolls that came out. Happy Doll Hunting !!!

Thorough as always!! I would say less than 'sticker shock' I'm feeling more like a 'sticker fatigue' - so many dolls out at once that are expensive, especially from MGAE, with more sure to come around the corner. it's a LOT!! And I definitely need more space to get things because my doll-ars are committed to multiple places at once and are more limited with so much to choose from. Carmen - aka Howleen - is definitely my favorite and the one I feel is truly the most value for her price (though PSST - those ankle boots were on the wrong feet I think lol) so if no one else I'm getting her asap. Not to mention - I expect to see that studded skirt used A LOT on integrity girls in the future. That said, Vanessa is very close to her and definitely someone I want to squeeze in while Lyric feels off for me (I think her and Gabrielle's eyes are too light. That blue is too close to the iris and feels flat?). All of her pieces are good but the outfits don't work as is IMO (swapping the jackets helps quite a bit) and I think her lip shade should be a deeper tone or just not that orange to stand up to the strength of both her hair and her eyeshadow. Overall I really appreciate these and definitely want to grab Carmen & Vanessa soon while Lyric I think can wait on a sale and largely that's price. If I had to guess I would actually pin pricing on the stores vs. MGAE since we've seen things mark up for similar reasons elsewhere (that Sakks Belle, the Jason Wu exclusive dolls) but who can be sure right?

I bought Vanessa really for two reasons: the brown eyes and the fact that she is GORGEOUS! 😍 I've looked at RH dolls but I'm turned off by the blue eyes every dark-complexion doll has. $50 is a lot for me to pay for a doll so small but I couldn't leave Target without her and it was my birthday! 🥳 I've never regretted buying Vanessa and I'm buying more of the RH dolls because I love them! The LOL Surprise dolls, IMHO, were funny looking and the Nana dolls are cute, but dark-complexion dolls didn't have brown eyes, either. I've ordered Georgia Bloom. She was the first RH doll I really liked but Vanessa sealed the deal!

I love them. I absolutly need and want Pinkie Pie....I mean Carmen. She is my favorite. But I do love Lyric's outfits more. And I dont think the miniskirt is too short. Maybe its bc Im used to the punk/rock/alternative fashion style. I do wish they had given her fishnet stockings/tights to go with it. Awesome review. Sculpted baby hairs!! thats awesome!! Love Vanessa and Carmen... Not so fond on Lyrics.. But the jackets are awesome on the three of them.. I think they are the best pieces!! That hot pink looks very intense on the video!! Love how you show everything!! And almost every fashion references!!! It is so cool that they are sporting some Music references, like Van Halen, MTV and Metallica..

Hands down you are the most comprehensive doll reviewers on KZfaq. $35 fine, $50 is just too much for these dolls. ...and predictably the prices WILL continue to climb primarily because MGA fans are so taken and are willing to find a way to stressfully pay to have them.

Price are going up not because fans are willing to pay but because there's a global shipping shortage resulted from covid and prices for anything that's imported will climb up cause container price blew up, you can look it up. The rockstar and sleepover line had originally a suggested retail price of 35usd and are now 50usd because of that.

@@darka97130 Yes. Yes. Yes. … and fans are still willing to stressfully pay. I would not recommend holding your breath thinking that the price will get to the $35ish level if or when the shipping situation stabilizes. More details and side items will be added because the cue has been clearly established that RH fans are taken and will pay.

@@zwilliams331 I agree and don't at the same time, first because rainbow high stuff will go up even more, series 4 and other spring releases will be over 30usd and the chinese new year dolls is even rumored to be 72usd. Plus with the shortage some items may be harder too find after the initial stock is sold out like the 24k dj doll so hardcore fans will buy them at full price. Second I don't agree because at the and of the day rainbow high is a playline with kids for target audience so price point is a huge choice factor and having only expensive deluxe dolls is bad business strategy, and parents won't continue to buy expensive dolls if there's a cheaper alternative like Barbie extra, mermaid high and so forth. Leaked listing has shown that mga know and is working with more budget friendly options like their dream Ella brands and more omg dolls between 14$-22$ price point, so we could expect budget rainbow high dolls alongside deluxe dolls.

@@zwilliams331 thanks you 💖 it's just observation from multiple toys info sources I feel like if after next year prices won't go down the shipping price will be counted in the production price instead of adding it up, so moreover the same price as before but with less quality

I just got Vanessa yesterday and I got her on sale for $33! Where I live she is $50 but I was looking at my nearest target and she was on sale so I knew it was my opportunity to get her. So excited for her to arrive 😁

I did pre-ordered all 3, but watching reviews of them I don't vibe with Lyric a lot, the eyes are too light and also the eyeshadow is too sharp (I don't know how to word it properly). And she has my least favorite fashion of the 3 (love her hair, black top, gloves, and extra jacket though). But compared to Vanessa and Carmen that is spot on with like everything for me, that's not enough). Will try and cancel her if possible. Thank you for this review, defo my favorite one out of all the ones I've watched. :)

Honestly, I don't understand why the instruments add extra dollars to the price. Also, Carmen reminds me of the Pinkie pie from the Rainbow Rocks line.

I’m in love with these dolls but $50 a doll is ALOT! They need to either slow down with these releases or lower the price of their dolls if they want collectors to actually collect the rainbow. I want every doll but I’m not rich so I can’t buy every single thing that comes out at $30 or $50 it’s getting really pricey

I will not be getting Lyric unless I can get her "blended" and shiny version. I do not like the blocky eyeshadow she has in the other variant.

actually Georgias curls vary alot doll to doll, both of my Georgias have tight full corkscrew curls much like winter break skylar but I’ve seen ones with little to no curl in their hair as well

They are copying OMG Rockers, but, better quality. Let's face it this is more for adult collectors than kids. It's the risqué outfits.

I have developed a MGA releases exhaustion. I think they could release the greatest doll in the world, I would not even notice. Exhausted! lol I don't find RH dolls as extraordinary as everyone else. They can be beautiful but I find them a bit soulless and expressionless. Their outfits can also be a bit "so so" and boring sometimes. I find their high heels shoes quite boring too. These "rockers" dolls look nothing like rockers at all with their tacky outfits. I think omgs are better at the rock game. They are more fun too. And of course, these dolls are overpriced... I guess my comment will be popular!! 😁😆 How can I dare not kneel in front of the Rainbow High altar... and be part of the cult.
