The water has to be simmering. It does not need a rolling boil, that's what makes it cloudy. You want to add it to simmering sugar water and take it off AS SOON AS you don't see granules anymore. to make a clear raindrop cake first you gotta have an EMPTY pot then you add to the empty pot the agar agar powder (I don't know how to write it.Then you add a little bit of COLD water and when the water disappears you add a little bit of water again and again like 6 times I think then you add the rest of the water but remember that it is COLD WATER then you get the mixture and you see that the water is whiteish then you gotta boil it until it is clear then you let it sit at room temperature until it's cold then you put it in the molds and then you put it in the refrigerator for around 30 min or 15min (I don't remember sorry) then you take it out and there you have it a clear raindrop cake PLEASE LIKE THIS COMMENT SO THEY CAN READ THIS PLEASE

I'm re-watching of all of his pins because of quarantine, and seeing Rob's shirt and then seeing when the video was posted is making me feel so old. I'm 15 now in 2020 and my birthday is on March 5th, so I had just turned 12 when he posted the videos. I miss my elementary days haha.

Okay, so, I looked it up to see what others were doing. It seems like some people make it as to it's cloudy, however, I did find something that has the steps to make it completely clear. Here it is condensed down - First - It seems you need to put the agar powder (didn't say how much agar but didn't look like a ton -.-) in a pot off of the heat along with the sugar, then slowly pour in the water, mixing the ingredients together slowly. Second - When everything is mixed, only then do you put it on the heat. And it appears you don't want to stir it too much. Third - You take the pan off of the heat and cool the mixture off, seemingly with the pan being in a cool water bath. When the mixture is cool, only then do you want to pour it into the molds slowly and carefully. Lastly - It seems you only need to refrigerate it for 30 mins and then after that, you very carefully remove the cake from the mold. This is what I've found out for you guys and I really hope that you guys can perfect it :3 Love you guys and wish you luck if you ever want to try it out again.

OMG they have to use 4 grams of agar agar and 800mls of water. First u put 4 grams of agar agar in a pot, then put a little bit of water at a time then mix it and keep doing that until its kind of disolved. After that, put it in the heat for idk 3 mins? then cool it off then..... put it in the round mold then put it in the fridge

Hey Rob, you really got to learn how to use your scale correctly. You can place a bowl on the scale, press the "zero" or "tare" button, and then you place what you're weighing in the bowl. As for how to weigh grams, you'll have to find the button where you can switch between the two. It could be a switch on the back or simply holding a button down for more than a second. I enjoy your videos!

You should add flavoring to it, and also the color of the flavor e.g. Strawberry-pink or bubblegum-blue. And then put it in a tub or an ice cream cone and eat it with a spoon. Or you can make like 100 of them and Corrine could bath in it
