In this video I show you how to setup your Polish Lavvu, by using at tripod inside the Lavvu. Very easy to make and use. Making a delicious bacon'n egg sandwich and a nice cup og coffee with ...you know. ;0)

First time I’ve seen someone use a ring to hold a tripod together. It sure saves a lot of wrapping and frapping around !

A rope shackle instead of a metal ring could be another good way to form the tripod.

The ring and the tripod are good ideas Tom. I have a small wood stove like that I want to try out. I'm 66 and young at heart. I'm glad the cooler weather is coming here in Virginia. My mother was born in Skuppum, Norway, but I haven't been there. I also put a little bourbon in my coffee occasionally.

Tom, your channel became a window from my place to wherever you camp. It is a way of relaxing watching you camp with minimal equipment you do have a quality life in the middle of nature. Each time, I learn something from you. I really enjoyed watching you preparing your meal on that little stove cooking delicious meals. I do admire how organized you are. Very clever tripod solution. It’s like a very simple tee-pee design. That’s a lovely wood too. This time I came prepared and made a bacon and egg sandwich before I watched so I would not be left hungry after your video, 😊 Cheers, Tom.

It's 1:45 a.m. right now and I needed something to watch and listen to as I wind down for the night, as daylight soon approaches. This is a delightfully relaxing video from start to finish. Nothing like cooking up some delicious eggs🥚and bacon 🥓 for a sandwich 🥪 to enjoy in the peace and quiet of nature's wilderness. And to top it off with a nice hot cup of coffee ☕. Love it. You have the coolest backpack and gear. It's art, and function, the perfect blend. Having made so much of it yourself lends great meaning, and credit. I've decided to name my 17' canoe.. Tom👍👍 Another well filmed and presented video from my favorite Viking bushcrafter and woodsman, thanks for the hard work and bringing me along😊 The solution for pitching the Lavvu is genius and the metal ring at the apex of the tripod is a great idea👌 Bacon and egg sandwich is delicious😋 and followed up with a cup or two of signature Cimbrer coffee😉😉is well deserved. It looks like the weather is changing there in Denmark, won't be long before you'll need outer wear to stay warm. It's just not a Tom video until there's been "a tip, a sip, and a wink". Of course, a nice bowl of favorite tobacco usually makes an appearance too. Good to see you out my friend, and in such a beautiful spot too! You and I came up with almost identical methods for measuring out the components and spread of a tripod for the lavvu. The only real difference is the paracord I use for the pole length is a bit longer than yours. I tied a knot at the ideal length for an interior tripod, but made the overall length the minimum pole length necessary for an external tripod set as well. Be well and thank you for the time, thought and efforts you put into your excellent videos.
