Hey uh, I haven't subscribed to mainstream media in awhile... like nearly 10 years now, so uh... I'm pretty out of touch when it comes to TV shows, I'm better with movies, but um... is it all like this now? This laughable girly sci-fi? It's like they took a rando CIS guy with zero real interest in, say, women's hygiene products, and then asked him to design a new, better, improved tampon! That actually happened by the by, the first real tampon was invented/patented by a dude, but it was until a lady came along later and improved upon it that it actually became COMMERCIALLY VIABLE! You see, my point here is... there are certain rather specific differences in the sexes, not just biologically but also mentally and while those differences are not 100% binary, they are as close as you can get within standard deviation... in other words the overwhelming majority of the people on the planet. Hence the reason why the word "normal" exists! So, because of those differences... guys make shet tampons... and women make shet sci-fi. We don't know why, we probably don't want to know why, it's just... one of those things that exists and we just need to accept it. Especially when you're riding a flying raep whistle through space and your super power is apparently screaming like a girl. *epic face palm* What are these people thinking?! I can't even begin to fathom just how much money they must be hemorrhaging as a result of continually ignoring their market for a make believe one just try and feign the appearance of being virtuous. It's like financial self-immoltion, your bottom line kindled and set ablaze with your own senseless pride and egotism. LOL

Mother loves her children, and is willing to go above and beyond, and it's shown that the despair she has is not related to her programming. So yes. I know for sure, because I watched the season.

@Elliepopcorn Pretty pictures are not enough to make a good story that's worth telling. If only the content of the episodes had the gravitas of the intro title sequence.

@Elliepopcorn I thought the flash back scenes were all incredibly well done, and I didn't find the plot weak but intentionally vague for the sake of mystery. The character writing was a bit weak especially for most of the kids on the show. Their motives were a bit unbelievable at times. There was a healthy amount of suspension of belief needed for many scenes and how it panned out. But it was still a very good watch with some truly amazing moments. I feel like S2 will be better though and I'm definitely looking forward to seeing more of this show.

Lasers are highly impractical as energy weapons. And extremely expensive. Firearms are here to stay for a long time.

Its to show a more realistic future have u not noticed the more believable are those set with future tech but obviously due to money makers at the top gas and petrol and the industrial age was pushed as far as it can possibly go

Eh energy weapons are not really practical, especially lasers. Mainly even if you don't count the intense energy cost, the fact that reflective surfaces give massive defense, and the fact that minituration on that scale might not even be possible, the benefit is just not that eye. Plasma weapons moreso, but getting them to the point of weaponization is not likely What they should use however is gauss or rail gun technology, far more speed, for less cost of a laser

Ridley didn't create this show he's just a producer and Dune was great. Doubt he would've done a better job. Aaron Guzikowski is the reason Raised by Wolves is as great as it is. He's the writer and creator of the show. Give the man the credit he's due.

It seems like she has different variations of what that sonic wave from her scream can do. Sometimes she can turn them into literal bloodstains, other times she probably just destroys their internal organs which leaves the bodies intact, but them still pretty much dead.
