TJ is the best rugby commentator there is. His knowledge, enthusiasm and passion are unmatched. Nisbo is a legend of course, but I've always found TJ the best.

Hands down my favourite rugby commentator, and by some distance. No one else comes close. He never allows bias to tarnish his commentary (unlike several Australian screamers I could mention); whether it's the Wallabies, the Springboks, the Lions, the Pumas, whoever, he shares his passion and enthusiasm for a great passage of play in equal measure. Go well, TJ; I hope you never hang up that microphone

Don't rate him as a commentator. He overly rides the players he favors most and just says what the nz public says. He has to go
