It was time to give our goats their copper boluses, and just to look them over and work them in general. Sometimes the goats want to put up a fight, like our Kiko buck did in this video, but it's all just apart of the game.
We also had another KZfaq channel come over and barter some chickens for chickens! We are super happy to have Black Copper Marans back on the farm! Go check out Adler Farms and tell them "Hi" from Sawyer Ridge Farm! We hope you enjoy the video!

A couple of suggestions.....1st when you put them up on the milking stand, have a little bit of grain for them so that they learn to associate it with a pleasant experience(if your not already). 2nd combine the de worm with a tasty treat so that they look forward to eating it. You can make it into a paste and form a ball and give it to them whenever you need to. Good luck to you.

I've seen several goat owners put the Copper Bolus into a piece of banana or other fruit/treat that their goats love. Just open the capsule, dump the contents into the center, cover it up so it wont spill and everyone gets a treat. If you can start getting yours tame enough to take a treat it may be a whole lot easier to give.
